But that would mean they are more powerful than the other two classes, as Skills are so very important ? Some Prima Guide owner knows the 'truth'? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, Ive got it with me right now. And, as far as I can tell, although there is bound to be one that is better than the others they seem fairly balanced. Skills are pretty important for item creation and dialogue. On the other hand, use of the Force and combat could easily turn the balance of power to another class depending on your style of play. One note though: There are no tables in the guide to....well, "guide" you to a class. No skill/feat/force power progressions are listed. So there is no way, short of doing the math(which I plan on doing at some point), to figure it out.

It would acutally make sense that upgrading INT, WIS, and CHA over DEX, CON, and STR because you get more dialogue options(WIS helps awareness, and CHA for persuade), as well as the WIS/CHA giving you a serious Force advantage. Throw in skills based off INT and all you need is a "tank" to stay in front and take your damage. Yes. INT is very worthwile in this game. I would highly recommend it.

light side/ dark side points
DarthDoGooder replied to Jakke Solo's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yeah, Try this: Boiler 98's Influence Guide Thread You might find what you want, and then again, you might not. I can tell you, having read the section of the Strat Guide on Influence, that some of the options that you want to select to gain influence will require certain skills or attributes to be high. Good luck! -
Before the text you want to be blacked out, type in "[ spoiler ]" and after it put in "[/ spoiler ]".

I dont know if these are all of the options are not, but here are a few of the options regarding Visas and Disciple/Handmaiden: Handmaiden- (Ls) I won't harm her if that's what you're asking. (influence loss). (Ds) She is useful and I do not mean to kill her yet.(influence loss) (Neutral) I trust her more than I trust you. (influence loss) Disciple-(Ls)I don't believe in killing prisoners-or the wounded. (influence gain) (Ds) She is useful, and I do not mean to kill her yet. (influence loss) (Neutral)I trust her more than I trust you.(influence loss) EDIT: Trying to read and keep track of all of the influence posts in this thread is a little difficult, but if there's something in particular that you're searching for, PM me and I'll see if I can dig up some more options for influence.(No I can't help with Mandalore.) Also, Boiler 98, are you updating your first post to contain all of the subsequent information?

Is it possible that K2 Items heavily emphasis...
DarthDoGooder replied to G@mbIT's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I would assume that it's because DS players get in more fights and will be attacked more. A LS player would need more CHA to persuade people not to fight. I understand what you're saying, but I think that might be part of the reasoning behind it. Just my $0.02. -
light side/ dark side points
DarthDoGooder replied to Jakke Solo's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Actually, I believe that the guide book says that you need to be 75% good/evil, and other differing percentages for different people/situations. The way to tell is your bar on the character sheet. (Where it shows a blue or red background behind your character.) -
Sorry for the bashing Trigg. Ive been in a bad mood today and you got on the receiving end. Try Boiler98's Party Influence Guide for some help.

Point taken. <_< I get sick of seeing these though. Too many people coming here and not bothering to read the stickies, use the search function, or anything. It's almost as if one guy is just trying to annoy us all. Anyways, off-topic. "
-
Okay, 2 points: 1. The search function. Contrary to popular belief, it exists. I suggest you use it. Combined with a little bit of patience, you wouldn't have to waste our time. 2.Is this question really necessary? There are so many opportunities to be evil throughout the game, and a few LS points in conversations should not affect your alignment that much.

Killing Taya somewhat easily
DarthDoGooder replied to Twitchmonkey's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I completely agree. Except he did spoil one thing: That Traya has two forms. However, Im not one to gripe or care. -
Actually, although Im too lazy to go find the quote, I do believe that Akari said once that there is a cap, it's just high enough that none of us could reach it without really trying.

I don't remember us ever getting orange. If we did, then I missed the update. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The only download I remember is the station above Yavin. Were there anymore? I wouldn't mind having another reason to play KOTOR again. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's the only one that I DL'ed. -

There were days when I would go 8-12 hours at a time, but never that long. -
Force Crush anyone?????
DarthDoGooder replied to CHAOSpsycho's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I had that exact same thing happen to me. Let me go look and I'll edit this post when I find the link. EDIT: A while back, I had that happen to me and although we weren't able to find a fix, a very kind member posted a link to some of the material on that site in this thread: Click me -
Yeah, but that's why you are playing DS and can't get that class. Also, if you are thinking about the corresponding Sith Lord PrC, then you will receive almost exactly the same thing. And, in my opinion, though I'll probably end up as a Jedi Master, I don't really care much for its class powers(or the opposite versions on Sith Lord). They don't seem to help much.

As in, 40 hours and 3 minutes without stopping? That's some devotion. -
Question for any ladies on boards
DarthDoGooder replied to Lifthransir Bane's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I don't know about him, but since I would more than likely not find myself enamored of Disciple or Atton, then I would kill them as well. As a male PC, they might be good friends(or not.) If I were to truly roleplay a female PC, then I might roleplay the character into falling in love with them. However, if all I wanted was to play the female PC to note different subquests and dialogue options then I wuold kill them b/c I would quickly become annoyed with their trying to get me to love them, when I simply don't care. -
Virtually all of your companions can become Jedi. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know that. I just want to know how to turn Bao-Dur into a jedi. I also wanted to know if there is a limit to the number of jedi you can make. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pardon me for misunderstanding. Im pretty certain it's just one.

Yeah, I have that written down as well, but I hear more clamoring for "what forms are in?" and "what do they do?" than which you get in each class. As I have finals this week, Im going to be very sporadically posting things like this that I think are relevant or, perhaps, wanted.
-
I play LS all the way through the first time. Always. However, on the second time I always go back and indulge myself in those fun little temptations. Yes, the "You die. Right here. Right now." option does make you feel good at times.

Ossus Keeper Robes(spoilers i guess)
DarthDoGooder replied to Tha_Mujician01's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
We have a winner! *Ahem* The ossus keeper robes give defense bonus +1, CHA +2, INT +4, WIS +4, and are upgradeable.
