- Whatever happened to F.E.A.R ?
Your player shoots bad guys, who hide and stuff. Shoot to kill baby shoot to kill! So, it's like Unreal Tournament 19 pages for that... people must be bored while waiting for something.- Whatever happened to F.E.A.R ?
I'm too lazy to crawl through all 16-17 pages... :"> Anybody care to review F.E.A.R. in like 3-5 lines (like, what's the game about) ?- Whatever happened to F.E.A.R ?
You didn't play the haunted mansion without sound, did you ?!? Then you better fix the sound and go back and do it again (preferably in THX quality etc.) :-"- Movies you like that everyone else hates.
Yes, that's right. Everyone else in the entire world-wide cinema audience are wrong, and you are right. Finally. Somebody who understands... :D- Movies you like that everyone else hates.
Hey, lay off Waterworld. It was a good movie. I even bought the DVD- Movies you like that everyone else hates.
It's hard to believe that a movie with both Uma Thurman and Sean Connery could suck that badly. A crime against the tv series - Movies you like that everyone else hates.
Scarlet Johanssen is always a bonus. Her name seems familiar, can't put a face on the name though. Her cares about her face... or acting... :)"- Fallout 3 : Ideas and suggestions
Come to think of it, has there ever been a game with that feature (a game of "some" size), that was actually funny doing it ? If so, what did they do right, if not, why is there still a risk of it being added to a game ?- Fallout 3 : Ideas and suggestions
Not if done like the first games... map travelling with the potential of discovery of special locations and encounters. Travelling was never really boring because travel time was "accellerated" (Sp?).- Black Isle Compilation
Real time combat :D It was very fast. But you could get used to it after a bit of practice. I must have chosen a wrong smiley It was intended to be not particularly serious. I only ever played the demo and didn't like the demo. Not really sure what I expected from a fantasy game who allegedly used the special system, but what I saw in the demo of Lionheart wasn't it. I can't quite identify exactly what it was - Black Isle Compilation
Real time combat :D- Fallout 3 : Ideas and suggestions
Set it somewhere in Siberia... Old rocket silos, research facilities, Vodka... They could call it Ice Waste Dale! (w00t) Erhh... nevermind. Could be fun and still kept in the 50'es retro style, just with a Post-Stalin slant to it (and a weird alphabet). Vault dwellers are probably very much alike all over the world.- Serenity
Grrr... What did you do Meta ? Flooding the Universal website ?- Serenity
Can anybody who has signed up tell what exactly I'm (possibly) signing up for ?- Fallout 3 : Ideas and suggestions
The open endedness being exactly what was compared Lets just say that, based on previous releases, a certain pessimism is going to prevail until proven unfounded. We are all entitled to bias and prejudices Why ? I can't remember mentioning that company even once in this thread Which brings me back to my first post, I liked the open endedness the way it was done in one game and not another (and therefore would like to see that done again the way I liked it vs. the way I didn't like it) Good night. I'm currently in northern Europe- Fallout 3 : Ideas and suggestions
The thing that appealed second most to me was the feeling of an "open" world. I was the one who created the story as I moved around the wasteland, surviving, searching, saving my vault/village and generally being busy being the chosen one. Never mind that it was the overseer/village elder that chose me ;)" For me, Fallout was how it was done right and Morrowind how it wasn't.- No Fallout 3 at E3 2006
It's still based on a movie... :p" Sorry about being a nitpicker. I was just worried about you comparing my beloved Pirates! with that thing published by that other company...- No Fallout 3 at E3 2006
Pirates! was developed by Firaxis and published (currently) by Atari (AFAIK). At least thats what my game says.- No Fallout 3 at E3 2006
I hope you mean Pirates of the Caribbean, not Pirates!... Edit: Ok, Caribbean with a single 'r'- No Fallout 3 at E3 2006
Ewwwwwwww, really? The video is slugish, so I can't really see for myself, but are we sure it wasn't just for demo purposes? Sounds like a glorified version of the old Fallout "empathy" skill (or perk or trait or whatever it was).- Movies you like that everyone else hates.
Isn't "Cult" sort of an alternative definition for things that a few like very much and most don't ? :D Anyway, I can only base it on personal experiences, not on some large scale gathering of empiric data- Movies you like that everyone else hates.
A few... Cube http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0123755/ Casper http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112642/ La Guerre Du Feu http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082484/ Not so sure about the last one. Only met two other people who've seen it. They hated it- Bloodlines
My favourite was the Nosferatu. It sort of suited my playing style (sneaky) and it involved a lot a sewers... Had nothing to do with vampiric powers. Runners up would be the Malkavian, for the insane dialogue. This one, I actually found hard because the powers you've got are pretty inefficient in boss battles.- TOP 10 TV SHOWS!
In no particular order (and I've probably forgotten a few great shows due to the stress of trying to remember them all) Lexx Firefly ST:TNG Angel The Twilight Zone Millennium Family Ties Sopranos And a lot more... - Whatever happened to F.E.A.R ?
