  1. They'd likely reply this, though I wouldn't take everything they say for granted.
  2. Note: don't confuse engine with gaming options. Kthnxbye.
  3. Enjoy!
  4. Useless info.
  5. The Thing owns.
  6. Cool stuff there
  7. Rise of Legends is a Rise of Nations spinoff in development by Big Huge Games. It involves the traditional gameplay of Rise of Nations set in a world where magic and technology collide (like Arcanum, but not as opressively brown and unbalanced). Check the site out for an E3 demo and some pics. Pretty interesting. Steampunk and its variants get me everytime.
  8. Very much the truth Several people I've met, both here and abroad, come up to me saying they liked Portugal and all, but the first things they speak in Portuguese are swear words. Pretty amazing.
  9. Finally someone else agrees with me on this. Wait, how in the hell do we agree with something? They're probably aiming for something in the vein of Alan wake (awake and all that, what with the "endless night" speech).
  10. The teaser's pretty small, though. It's like flashlight + ugly mug + two vague sentences and then OMG THE TITLE AGAIN!. If the teaser's any hint, though, the graphical engine seems top notch. Hopefully the day/night cycling there will be present and will be important to gameplay.
  11. For some weird reason, someone saw fit that the Commandos series should forget its usual style and go firstperson shooter. And to illustrate that point, Eidos released a trailer of the game in action. No release date announced yet.
  12. The creators of Max Payne have released this teaser of Alan Wake, something they are calling a "psychological action thriller". At their website, you can see some screenshots and a site listing for the trailer's download. The game is set to be released on PC and next-gen consoles (the next Xbox and Playstation), and more info on it will be released at this year's E3.
  13. Come for the unveiling of our console, stay for the cookies and Frodo autographs.
  14. Do stray dogs often pee or rub on you? That'd make the comparison more viable.
  15. I have to disagree on that bit. Some are clearly cutscenes, but there are ocasions where it's clearly visible we're seeing actual game content (at least game content devised until now). What I am looking more suspiciously at in the trailer is the use of them psywhatchamacallits. Hopefully their use is left to player ingenuity rather than fixed, forced or clear cut situations.
  16. Runaway army AI's built on incomplete data mapped from the deteriorated brains of long dead presidents, artists, and assorted nouveu rich who had enough money to deep freeze their brains, but not enough brains to realize it was pointless.
  17. Apparently it's going to be released on PC as well. It remains to be seen which version will be given the edge, but if it's anything like recent years, it'll be devised primarily for console, then ported with some tweaks to PC. Hopefully, they'll be able to make the port not feel like one.
  18. I don't care much that Orson Scott Card is handling the story. This doesn't mean I don't care about his work, it just means I don't care for whoever writes the story, because I'm mainly after the gameplay aspect. 'Course, it varies from person to person.
  19. Was I the only one who found it strange that Eru's post hinted at him wanting this game so bad, but for no gameplay reason whatsoever, instead mentioning only the story and the hiring of an orchestra? In any case, like others before it, it just feels like the same old stuff done prettier but apparently not different enough for me to care.... Yet.
  20. The return of the legend!
  21. True, we need better ways to measure demons.
  22. I'm under 18. Don't ask me how, I just woke up and she was over me. 24.
  23. That's just the tip of the iceberg!
  24. For some reason, Salad Fingers tickles my fancy. Along with some nether regions of my brain and funny nerves. Plus, I think we're pretty much alike.
