  1. I should probably be less excited than I am right now, but then again I'm not looking at the game's pics. It seems to me that World War 2 shooters tend to present incremental improvements over the winning formula without trying much else. Of course, they are winners. From Medal of Honor to Call of Duty they all seem to bring out great interpretations of that particular war. But I'd really wish other wars were equally well reflected, or presented in different ways. Pick up on the formula of games like Hidden and Dangerous or even Brothers in Arms and show other war theaters, for instance, would probably be a good thing.
  2. I prefer cure Malaysian boys myself, but in times of need some Greek manlove will do just fine.
  3. Literally fell asleep playing the first one, didn't bother with the second. Not going to care with a third one, really.
  4. IL-2 Sturmovik and its Forgotten Battles expansion - surprisingly published by Ubisoft - were great forays into air combat in the Eastern Front of World War 2. Though being a simulator it's definitely not for everyone. Still, I'd just buy the game out of principle for how great the game was and for the support Oleg Maddox gave to the community.
  5. So do I but I doubt that warrants someone making a videogame about me.
  6. Sometimes an above average to good title will slip through the cracks of gamer attention span because a publisher did not care to advertise it. This is most definitely not a problem with developers as they don't always have an active hand in that matter, and it's not accurate to blame a developer for this. Beyond Good and Evil's reception was rather poor because Ubisoft made almost no effort to promote it, despite being well received by critics. Another example seems to be Bethesda's treatment of Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, which looks like it isn't being able to make much of a name for itself even with reviews between acceptable and enthusiastic.
  7. I'm much more interested in HOMM5, especially because of Nival's involvement as I'm curious as to how they are going to handle it.
  8. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  9. Dammit jerk, don't spoil the ending!
  10. Best part is the Japanese "Zero" fighter with the Seal of Quality.
  11. Quite. But then I'd be a hipster, part of the in crowd; another guy with all the cool toys. That'd be a death of me. Necro and retro 'til I die!
  12. Giants: Citizen Kabuto.
  13. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ha, like you all care. Atenshun hoars.
  14. If by CRPG you mean Crappy Rendered and Programmed Game, then yeah.
  15. Just finished the original campagin and the add-on of Hidden and Dangerous Deluxe.
  16. Sometimes I wish I didn't had one. At all.
  17. Perhaps, and that is why I'm not posting that actively anymore, here or elsewhere.
  18. Well, liking to hate things doesn't count.
  19. My imaginary friends.
  20. You hate a lot of things.
  21. Was it invincible and faster than you?
  22. Actually Naked Lunch from Tacticular Cancer pretty much mentioned all the highlights and positives of the game in his review, though the Codex and its offspring is hardly my only reference for videogames.
