  1. The story so far doesn't sound bad to me. Devil is in the details. In NWN1 the character wasn't Chosen One, however the beginning of the story (only You, The Hero can recover those darn creatures!) was really ridiculous.
  2. Command line can be irritating, but... I find myself using it more and more often.
  3. You could get accastumed in using Windows with only your keyboard if you wanted to, what does that prove? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not a good analogy. My point was that when you are accustomed to some OS, you'd expect UI of the next version to be more or less consistent. The longer you use one, the harder it is to accept another.
  4. Still waiting for STALKER *queues a torrent of leaked MP beta*
  5. According to dev posts on Bioboards, they are within a year or so from the release of Dragon Age.
  6. Among all Russian games I've heard of there is no single Fallout clone. Care to elaborate?
  7. I have a friend who is a fan of action and driving games. He played Torment in 2005 and was blown away by it, no rose-colored glasses here. While I think the game is a classic, but it is somewhat a good thing that they won't be done again. Otherwise they will all become too ordinary. Good old times are over.
  8. Was I in hibernation? What year is it?
  9. So after giving us all this high and mighty argument about Macintosh, you suddenly turn 180degrees and admit that youre just like the rest of us. There's a word for people like you... flip-flopper. There. What are you going to say now, Mister flip-flopper? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There, there. Don't get all defensive. Everyone can be wrong. I use Windows because of - Windows-exclusive software that I need for my academic activities - games - habit (using Windows since v3.11) - I can't afford a Powerbook
  10. Failed. I use Windows almost exclusively. ... R00fles!
  11. But seriously what "emailmoneyback.com" has to do with IQ?
  12. Apple and Microsoft user interfaces turned out like this historically. It is a matter of habit and expectations formed in years. From a mac user's point of view, it is YOU who drives the car backwards.
  13. Die.
  14. There is more to an operating system than just a kernel.
  15. Nonsense. Did you actually use (a hour of poking around doesn't count) GNU/Linux and Mac OSX based systems?
  16. BTW, Joseph Stalin was an introvert, and he surely made world a "calmer, saner, more peaceful sort of place".
  17. The point is not that article says that introverts are more intelligent, but rather that it reeks of arrogance.
  18. Civ IV, archipelago map. Incredibly slow expansion at first, as well as incredibly low production speed in island cities. However AI is "dumber" with naval units, I have the lowest cumulative power (naval units mostly), but won every war so far.
  19. That doesn't automatically cancel the fact that the article is full of pretentious crap trying to be appealing to losers.
  20. I'm an introvert, but the article is rubbish. The author is either overglorifying himself or trying to appeal to the readers (who are introverts, mostly). The only good point made is that society is dominated by extroverts, especially the corporate culture (teamwork, communication skills, etc).
  21. It is better to use something like Dodgeit or Mailinator. Disposable mailboxes that are created when mail arrives.
  22. STALKER is in late beta now and they still plan an early 2007 release. Who will come first?
  23. Sounds more like Linux.
  24. Civilization IV. And I suck at diplomacy. Huayna Capac, Ghengis Khan and Tokugawa attacking you at the same time isn't pretty.
