  1. Yeah, but XvsT music, while nice, is just a CD track. The whole iMuse dynamic music system was so much better, even if the sound quality was lower.
  2. Um, they have already. Still, not many people seem to care. And in that case it was because of that "hot coffee" nonsense, not because the game had an unconventional plot.
  3. Yeah, I'd have liked you guys to participate a bit more, though. I got the impression that I did most of the talking and there were a few moments when I thought the wraith was going to tell us to shove it. It was good to have you there, Eldar. I hope it becomes the norm. Oh, and I assume we're on for next Friday, as usual. If anyone can't make it, post it and we'll try to find a solution before the session if possible.
  4. I'd love to replay that one, but the iMuse system doesn't seem to work under XP (or rather, it doesn't seem to agree with newer sound hardware), and without music, the game just isn't the same.
  5. And yet, GTA is a blockbuster...
  6. On second thought, I'm dropping out of this one. I've been reading the rules and it doesn't really appeal me. And obviously, I'd rather do this before the game starts. Sorry folks.
  7. You can replace "Star Wars", "Jedi" and "Sith" with the proper nouns from any other setting, and the paragraph doesn't lose a single ounce of validity. You know, that's "the stuff of legends". Not really exclusive to SW. What we need is less cliched stories, not different settings.
  8. You don't "control" any areas, only supply centers. You either have a presence in a sector, or you don't.
  9. Uh, why? If you didn't like JE, just don't buy the sequel in the event it's made. I'm sure lots of people would like the game to have a sequel, as apparently it's been rather successful. Would a sequel directly affect you in some way I'm overlooking?
  10. Yeah, they were lovers. And Kreia is Arren Kae. And T3 was mind-controlling Malak. And obviously, Vrook was Revan's father. What, you mean you didn't notice?
  11. Alan - You Are Wrong. Deal with it.
  12. Yes, yes. Thoughtcrime is death. No favorite for me, at any rate. I'm against authority (pun NOT intended) and all that jazz. "I play by my own rules, not anybody else's, not even my own."
  13. Yeah, I love you too Commy. And just so you know, I just came back from moderated posting. Not bad for someone who has a pet moderator, eh?
  14. In fact, this was moved from WoT. Hey, do you hear that? What is it? Ah, yeah. It's Volourn being completely clueless again.
  15. Oh well, I tried. Reason and logic aren't for everyone.
  16. Yes, I'd like to stay, too. But as things are right now, I don't think it's going to work. I'm not willing to cancel plans so I can attend a session, only to find out when I'm there that people aren't really up for it, but couldn't be bothered to ask for a rescheduling in the thread. Sessions aren't compulsory, and I'm not against reschedulings. But if you show up, I expect you to play a full session. It's called "making a commitment". And I'm just a player. If I was GM, I'd be pissed to no end. Whatever. Maybe I'm just a formality nazi.
  17. Wow, you're still going at it? Perhaps I should try a bit of reverse psychology... Go Alan, GO!
  18. Hades, I told you. You're not my type.
