okay, firstly if you look at enders post properly you will realise it means this: both jedi and sith have at some point come very close to being completely destroyed. this is quite true, for a long period the sith were whittled down to two (darth banes idea) and then there was the jedi purge, both ar part of star wars history secondly if your foriegn i apologise for the following rant but if not your grammar is terrible! not bcos ur usin slang or nething but ur word choice and what form of the word you use sort it out

Sorry but no. The Jedi Order never ceased until Palpatine make the Jedi Hunt, they had their rought times but never to the point were it disbanded. tpm was the biggest letdown i hav ever encountered film wise, especially since it was 20 odd years in the making. thankfully ep3 sounds as thought it shud make up for this fault lol now onto the actual thread topic, im not to fussed about being the last of the jedi all the time, and in a rpg its not really going to work very well to have a huge final battle incorporating lots of allys and enemys, thats more fps or even rts style. however i do think they shud do a decent star wars rts, that has huge potential, having played lord of the rings battles for middle earth i can vouch for that theory

i say build a new engine from scratch and make sure it is amazing, not a rushed piece of crap! as for the rules, in my opinion the combat system etc, so basically game mechanics are fine how they are :ph34r: makes sure hades isnt anywhere nearby :D

i know nothing whatsoever about game development, but with revamped graphics (new combat system is completely unnecassery) n when i say revamped i mean xbox 2 revamped a good time by my watch wud be 5-6 years

but if the game was wholly d20 it would lose a lot of fans, if the first kotor had been d20 i wudda bought it just to see, but i wudnt of wanted ot buy number 2 so do you appreciate why it wudnt happen, d20 is just to hardcore for sum people, u need compromise

yeah im reading digital fortress at the moment, not really far enough in to pass judgement. this whole thread stems from a discussion i had with my former science teacher, i attend a catholic school but am not catholic myself, whereas my science teacher is a physicist and catholic, a mix i thought somewhat unusual. neways im constantly challenging his beliefs, not to be contrary but out of genuine interest. having read the da vinci code it seemed like perfect ammunition, so i got a full magazine and charged into lesson. to my immense embaressment it turned out that he had done in depth research on many historical books, and had taken particular interest in this particular book. he went on to disprove many of the points i brought up. for example the last supper, which supposedly has a picture of mary magdalene, well according to some painting analysist hu had stripped it all down etc all the people on the picture could be women, that is just the nature of people from wherever jesus was blah blah. sorry to of rambled i was just quite shocked that such an good novel and such a convincing novel full of 'facts' was actually full of fabrication, in hinesight the biggest clue is the lack of a bibliography.....

amen to that, i still cant believe how incredibly stupid lucasarts were (if it was lucasarts) pushing obsidian to make a release date that was going to compromise the games quality, personally i would of been quite happy waiting until summer of '05 or even christmas if necassery to get a perfectly polished, debugged and finished version of the game. im not sure that others wil agree tho, specially with the christmas '05 statment!
