who is vis?

so as sum1 huse not played the game, is it worth it for me to try 100% with influence or would i be better off just using it when it fits in with my alignment

im one of the unfortunate brits who hasnt yet played the game, in somewhat dissapointed about a few of the things ive heard but that isnt what im posting about. its more that i find it interesting how quickly the kotor board has mutated from one zone of hardcore discussion to many little bubble of independant thought. also the topics are very different, sort of inclusive to only those who have played the game, this isnt a bad thing but i wouldnt say it was good. naturally it had to happen but i for one miss the old subjects etc (dunno if this is spam or not mods but its related to kotor and im interested so perhaps we can let it stand for a while..)

lol hav no idea hu you are dude, but since there is a thread that seems to be soley about you that the mods hav allowed to exist you must be regarded highly by some people. (hades didnt no you which surprises me, i thought he was the ultimate rpg veteran, maybe im wrong...)

even with la looking up your ass for the whole process hurrying you along you still manage to turn out a top rate game. you guys rock!

well the one person who cud give us the definitive answer to that question is mr avellone, who happens to be on the boards rite now. mebbes he will tell us if he thought lucasarts rushed obsidian, or perhaps he would rather not commit career suicide by bitching bout his employer thing

1) Punctuation and spelling are essential if you want to put across a good arguement. 2) Ignorant and stupid are synonymous. In other words they mean exactly the same thing. Both denote an absence of intelligence. You basically called him stupid. 3) I dont believe anyone called you a dumbass. Don't take offense at what somone never said nor insinuated. Furthermore, I firmly believe the kind gentleman read your post and responded coherantly. As for the topic... Technical support assumes the game itself is not working properly. The topic creator obviously has no problems playing the game from a technical standpoint, rendering the support forum useless to him. He rather expresses the opinion that people play through the game too quickly and might have missed critical points in the story which is why many are dissatisfied with the story, a perfecly valid one insults aside. I might agree with him once I finish the game for myself : ) You never know. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1. yes that is so true because the basis of a good argument is spelling and punctuation. btw your spelling is awful for someone who has the nerve to correct others, you might want to try coherently not coherantly. 2. you are wrong as was kindly explained by other forum members. 3. some guy assumed that i said something which only a stupid person would say, since he was obviously ignorant enough to not read my post properly then disagree with it. no i agree, and neither is misquoting. if i had of sed stupid newb i would fully appreciate what you were saying. however i said ignorant, which in my mind the person was. also bear in mind that when you enter anything as a new member you cannot expect to put across a harsh point of view without negative feedback from more senior users. i expect you will call sum1 a newb at some point in the hope of putting them in their place. everyone tosses around insults no matter how intelligent, the people who throw them around without an argument to back them up are the fools enough arguing however, it is not productive, we shall agree to disagree. if you wish to pursue this further there is something called the pm function

yeah i agree its not the same! i just said that both the quality of the game mechanics etc and the storyline are interlinked and affect each other. im not a complete dumbass r.b.r. read before replying

dont be so shortsighted! thats not gunna be the only reason he wouldnt buy the game, im sure its more the fact that there is a lot A LOT of negative feedback from this game lol if im wrong im gunna look dumb and fully accept all mockage!

those two aspects of the game interlinked, if there are glitches they will have more negative perspective of the game and hence the storyline. dont pick at threads of nothingness, its like me telling that when you sed 'a point of argument' you should of said 'the point of argument'

thats kinda dodgy, if only theyd taken the time they needed and not been rushed for christmas, i reckon the game would of turned out noticeably better

can anyone tell me the specifics about the bonding crystal and the ultima pearl plz be detailed

there was talk of some special crystal that would bond with the pc, did anyone find this crystal details ppl!

the unifying force is a good book, but you have to of read most of the others for that one to click completely. the best one off star wars book for me is starfighters of adumar

yeah the thing with nihilus sounds a bit off, before the game came out everyone was relli chuffed cos nihilus was so mysterious, not boring and cheesy like malak, but it appears the pendulum has swung to far!
