I never meant to imply that a Jedi cannot be aggressive... just that foce powers like force lightning and whirlwind flow through ones hatred. The Jedi are taught to control these feelings and is why they are told not to use them and shouldn't use them. Because that would be giving into the temptation of hate and doom and you would become DS yourself. The Jedi council has an on-going problem with the conversion of LS Jedi to DS. Thus, you're told that there are DS powers, LS powers, and Universal Powers. Those who do not use DS powers will be able to withstand that temptation. Now.. if you are playing KOTOR2 and you insist on being a LS all the way through? Why would you give in to hate and take the evil powers that draw and consume you to the other side? The simple answer is that you don't... you trust in your training at the academy and the values of the Jedi society and use LS powers of knowledge and thought to create a masterful Jedi. Once again... if you really want to use force powers that draw from hate and main purposes are to hurt people and inflict damage then you should go DS for KOTOR2... stop asking that a LS Jedi fuel his hate for the purpose of destruction... pllllleeease <_<

WAHT!!!!!??????????? I have 2 PC's and Xbox and ps2 and gamecube.... AND I'd still prefer KOTOR2 on my Xbox to pc. TV screens and controller consoles are perfect for rpg's much like these because you are more consumed by the game. KOTOR series is designed for Xbox primarily and PC secondary. I HEART MY XBOX!!!!!! :wub: :wub: :wub: I agree PC is can be a very powerful system but I find it cold using a keyboard and mouse for an rpg. A controller allows you to focus better on the gameplay. And Xbox is the best console out there right now, (not better then PC) but it's still able of accomplishing many great things graphically and gameplay wise. SO PLLLLLZZZZZ I know you all love your PC's but don't diss Xbox... maybe cube... but never Xbox :D

uGGGGGGGGHhhhhhhhhhhhhh I don't even understand what you want anymore influence... you say they have to offensive powers, now you're saying they do... and the reason Jedi's don't have massively offensive forces is because they can use those other offensive force things like Jump and their pure sabre skill and training. If you want to be an offensive char that wants offensive force powers instead of reason and alternative option... then go DS!! <_< Jeez

All that was discussed is that it would be an interesting addition in the plot the have an apprentice... The opinions on that were merely cool thoughts, not pure fact B)

Ye but that's why Jedi's are so good at sabre fighting it balances there lack of offensive force powers. Since when was Star Wars based on reality/realism....

In the first one they had pazaak and the dueling arena and that weird podracey gamer thinger. Which I really enjoyed. Does anyone know how many of these are coming back to KOTOR2? Also, shoutout what you think would be a great KOTOR2 mini game! Maybe a training academy where you can gain extra jedi-riffic powers?

It is like the belief that the son will someday be stronger than the father.... hrmmm could be interesting if it turned that way. On the other hand..... if you go Sith Lord yourself maybe they'll all just want to gang on you. And if you are SIth lOrd, they won't be able to stop you anyways since you'll be able to destroy them yourself.

This is pure speculation (like 99% of board content)but I think the prestige classes will add different sidequests that equate with the different responsibilities that each "job" has within the Jedi or Sith order. I agree, your statement is very valid sick. This further expands onto what I believe will give KOTOR2 more replay value. Interesting thought... I'd assume to be a Jedi master or Sith lord you'd have to be at the max of your spectrum and maybe even kill one of the lords to take his/her place. As for say watchman and marauder, lets all hope there is cool sith academies and jedi council training for those. Would add a nice char development to the game.

I was wondering.... if you become a Sith Lord.. then kill off Sion and become the leader of teh Sith assasins or the prestige class (Sith Assassin) itself? Would you be able to assinate/bounty hunt people? There are bounty hunter weapons in the game now.. maybe thats a clue ^^ who knows
