Supreme commander is awesome. Well, multiplayer is anyway, the single player campaign leaves much to be desired.

Saw that earlier today. I must say it looks ok, but I have serious reservations about EA being able to produce something that isn't a piece of imbalanced bug filled crap. See Kane's Wrath and Tiberium Wars for their latest attempts. Hopefully RA3 will be different, but I am not going to hold my breath.

I liked JE, it wasn't anything awesome but I had fun with it. More fun than I had with KotOR or NWN pre HotU. PS ATI can go diaf.

If the computer simply is not turning on then a windows repair won't do anything. Windows does not direclty iteract with the hardware to cause the computer to not turn on for 15 mins. I would suggest to try updating the MOBO BIOS. If that doesn't work then you could try swapping out the power supply with a different one. One more thing is to try and test the ram for a few hours with prime 95, doubtful but might as well just to be thorough. And if that fails you might as well just buy a new mobo.

Kane's wrath is quite a bit of fun. The campaign is easy even on the hard difficulty, I won't spoil it but I did not like the story elements to go along with the campaign. I also missed playing GDI, not a Nod fan myself. The global conquest thingy that comes with the game is a nice idea, though you can tell they didn't put a whole lot of work into it. Now for my real beef with the game. It constantly desyncs during multiplayer. Whenever a player, be it person or AI, builds several anti-air turrents the game desyncs, it will also desync at random times. My friends and I who like to play over LAN have huge problems even getting through one game. Very annoying, EA has promised a patch to fix this and correct some balance issues no real ETA on that though. So my advice is to wait until the patch for it comes out. Bleh stupid EA first patch to fix game ending bug comes out 4 months after release

*shrug* Fallout 3 is from bethesda and since I played morrowind for no more than perhaps 2 hours total I am not at all confident that I will like fallout 3 either. Too bad really.

I will be getting it. I got the 360 version to play on my Dad's 360 but that console disappeared in the bottomless pit known as my brother's apartment so... Anywho looking forward to playing it on my PC, see how pretty I can get it to look.

It's definately worth it. I usually hate console RPGs but Mass Effect was awesome. I'll definately be grabbing the PC version.

Ok... Mass Effect has a better story than every other game that came before it? Why was its story so good when compared to the others -I have yet to play it as I do not own a 360-, and why are you so dismissive of past games? Have you played these classics, or are you making an attack et al without good reason? IMO the big difference between the Mass Effect story and say PS:T is accessibility. In PS:T you had to go through so much to get the full benefit of the game. Tons of sidequests and a huge amount of reading. For Mass Effect all you really have to do is sit back and watch TV between shooting things. Both had great stories for their own time and targeted genres. I do think that PS:T had far, far more depth to it. But for alot of people, it's too boring to work through now. Not many people like to read anymore.

Trying out the single player campaign of supreme commander. It sucks pretty hard honestly. The game itself is fun and I enjoy it a great deal but the mission designs take all that and makes it bad. Hopefully the expansion pack, Forged Alliance, will be an improvement. Played Kane's Wrath campaign, was pretty meh IMO. I like the new sub-factions and the super units, unfortunately whenever I try to play on a LAN with friends the game desync's 3/4 of the time. WTB patch! Gone back to C&C Generals: Zero Hour over the LAN, it's still quite fun playing with a couple other people and some AI, graphics are a bit dated though. That's it mostly, I keep meaning to pick up a copy of The Witcher so I can get some RPG goodness but my DVDrom is down and I am too busy to try and fix it at the moment.
