  1. And Lord of the Rings Online And Everquest 2 And City of Heroes but that's totally it, stupid developers! oh, and Final Fantasy XI But that's totally it, unless you count all the stupid last generation MMO's.
  2. DDO is pretty solid, not my cup of tea but when I played with a permadeath group it was intense and fairly close in feel to the NWN permadeath server I used to play with. NWN3 is a looooooong way off people. We really have no idea what type of game it will turn out to be. The term MMORPG doesn't refer only to WoW and its clones, so it's a bit early to jump to conclusions about NWN3. Also, the original NWN was very much designed around multiplayer aspects, so it's a bit alarmist to say NWN3 is abandoning the original vision.
  3. I suppose the dugong makes sense if you aren't circumcised. This thread has gone down an unexpected path.
  4. This thread took a hilarious turn When I say GTA style sandbox, I don't really mean GTA4, which actually departed from the formula quite a bit of the previous games.
  5. Nah, they're easy, just like the rest of the game. What a ridiculous statement. Sometimes I get heartburn from eating bacon. Would you like to argue that as well?
  6. I'm happy with it, $1100 a month. Unfortunately we bought at the top of the housing bubble, so that doesn't nearly cover our mortgage, but we can write off the loss on our taxes from what I hear. Plus if I can rent it long term, hopefully the market will return to a decent price and I can get a more comfortable mortgage someday.
  7. Sure, I enjoyed the demo. It's a sandbox game, if you like GTA style stuff then it will entertain for a bit.
  8. Take it up over a PM Gorgon, don't hi-jack my thread.
  9. I found a tenant for my place. I'm going to manage it myself for now, I appreciate the advice though. It's a Mormon family, so hopefully that eliminates the chance of wild keggers every weekend.
  10. I've let them retake the airport before, and then went in afterwards. It was easier, I felt.
  11. NHL

Zetterberg and Datsyuk are amazing in that they have sick offensive talent, but their defensive game is just about as good as any defensive forwards in the league. It'd be nice to see a game 7.
  12. Got back into playing The Witcher, and just reached the beginning of Act 2.
  13. 2 spots above the Drassen Mine is an airport. Mines also give money, so the San Mona one isn't too useful. San Mona is actually a neutral city, so we don't have to control it. Nice place to visit though. Now there is a pile of cash in the San Mona mine, but it belongs to a mafia don. Do we want to steal it?
  14. Agreed, Airport. Although with multiple squads, we could send one to Chitzena.
  15. I vote for Thor, he's pretty hilarious.
  16. If we get Trevor for two weeks, that gives us a lot of time to raise funds, I'd think.
  17. I enjoyed the demo of the original, but never picked it up.
  18. You can lose the main merc and continue. You don't even need to do the test. At least if I remember correctly. I think we should just hire all the MERC people, they are cheap and can fill slots, particularly militia training. But we can wait until we take a town and a mine. Ok, I'll rank my recommendations: 1. Wolf - solid all around 2. Trevor - Good lockpick and repair, decent soldier 3. Thor - Good backup medic and solid soldier 4. Sydney - need a sniper, and he reminds me of Walsingham! 5. Barry - good explosives, backup repair, can be a good soldier if he doesn't blow up 6. Some doctor, Spider or MD I guess. MD can get pretty decent if given a lot of training 7. Ice - Chill 8. Hitman - Hitman once killed 18 enemies on a single map for me...in JA1. Forgot we need an ox - Grizzly causes less problems then Steroid. If we get Danny, no Steroid.
  19. Maybe we should have a poll, or a ranking system for choosing mercs. Like ranks their top ten mercs 1-10, and then we take the 5 or 6 with the highest scores. Just an idea.
  20. Great idea! Did you already choose your mercs? I see you reincarnated Snake, good choice. Are you using a money cheat? I think we need to hire Wals, I mean Sidney.
  21. Actually it was the first thing I did Wals, I looked for the hospital and checked to see if there was a staff directory. That yielded no results, so I tried to type a few other details, and a scammer beware site came up with my same details.
  22. Do you play many video games? Because I'd say the writing is right at the industry standard. That's not a compliment, but I'm just surprised it bothers you so much.
  23. I haven't noticed Windows Live being any more intrusive than Steam. At least they stopped trying to charge for it!
  24. I played KotOR2 on the 360 and it was fabulous.
