Im still only on 42% of my reinstall of the game. If that doesnt fix the lockpick bug I have to start over again to get lockpicks, or remake an XP gimped rogue.
See, if you agree with someone on one thing you must, therefore, agree with them on everything. That's just how things work, apparently.
Except that is not at all what I said.
You didnt get forced to install a patch that broke much more of the game and ruined peoples saves and characters.
As per this thread: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/75207-cant-interact-with-locks-after-patch/
They shouldnt release the patch without testing it in the first place.
The new bugs are WORSE than whatever was fixed.
Breaking saved games is the single worst possible bug to introduce with an update.
If we assume taking these stats:
Boreal Dwarf:
20 might
17 dex
18 + 1 Int
Wood Elf:
18 Might
19 dex
18+1 int
Wood elf gets an accuracy buff to all ranged attacks / spells, boreal dwarf only gets a bonus against two types of enemies.
I thought youre meant to test patches to make sure there are no new bugs introduced.
Is this going to be a problem every single time the game is patched, that more things will be broken than fixed?
This sucks for everyone playing the game on Steam because it auto updates the game.
I can still click on traps and other intractable objects but not on locked containers, I tried verifying the game caches and it still wont work HALP ME.
Game worked better before the patch.
