Actually this game is awful because no fine rods anywhere. I hate this game now.

Id be happy to also support a kickstarter to fund for Pillars of Eternity 2 if it will be equally as good as this game.

E.G. Ring of overwhelming focus - 1.5x focus gain, -10 all defenses Ring of spell storing - +2 wizard spells per level, -2 all attributes Natures Corruption - Quarterstaff with +3 level 1-4 druid spells, -25 endurance, -2 athletics. Suggest your own!

Well fortunately it matters not now because my botanical garden spawns endless pilgrim crowns. But before that I never had enough. I was just hoping there would be AT LEAST ONE guaranteed location where there is a fine rod.

Well your whole problem is standing your whole group together in one spot. Do you even have tanks? Obsidian Lamp in one of the buildings, go find it. Hide non tanks / ranged characters in the north room. Use triple shade summon to block the entrance, leave a tank (or two on Potd) in the main room. Throw every fricking thing you have from behind the summoned shades, fireballs, warding seals, fire symbols, whatever AoE a druid gets if you have a druid. Oh chill fogs too. And more fireballs. Ran out of fireballs? Got a firewall? Got level 2 rolling fire ball? Got symbol of fire? Seals of warding? Fricking any kind of any AoE? THROW ALL THE AOE!

IT IS NOT BECAUSE FINE OTHER WEPS ARE ALWAYS IN THE SAME PLACE!

I'm not even aware of other games where tanking even works. Like in DDO you have to make self healing tanky survivable wizards to play the game, and its one of those ****ty MMOs where you're pretty much not allowed to die at all.

If you actually know where the fine rods are stop being so stingy and go post where in my spoiler thread asking for locations. You people are pure evil hiding such important things from me.

Yes there's one in a shop, but its not got that useful a unique mod. There's not even any fine rods in any shops.

My expectations are set by the following games: BG 1&2 Morrowind Guild Wars Path of Exile Few other games have had such a hold on me as those. Pillars of Eternity just beat them all.

They're not random, like in one of the early forest areas there's a hidden alter that always contains a fine wand. Because Wael priest - +10 accuracy with Rod.

Anyone found any in act 1-2? Not endless path and without enchanting? Why don't they exist???

I think I've rerolled and restarted the game some 30+ times already. But I just finally finished act 2! I can do this ... Just one more act ... Nooo but wait, my Arbalest paladins didn't need so many points in Con and could have done with much more dex because slow arbalests are slow .... Must .... Resist ..... Restarting ...... Halp.

Make Potd into Normal mode.
