  1. Kissed an old female friend out of the blue last night, while we were out - we both just went into it as our respective flirts had both gone south.. And both quickly agreed that there was absolutely no spark haha.. It was like a perfect "yeah........ no" and now I'm off to a wedding to see if I can get me some bridesmaid
  2. It looks like an arabic variant of Samosa.
  3. more awesome than funny though..
  4. Pardon me? All right I'll murder the joke.. "mine is bigger" compared with your love for fitness made me think of the expression "do you even lift" - so, meant as a jab at your competetive nature.
  5. Do you even Squash, bro?
  6. My brother lived there for 2 years, the neighbour family commited suicide together when in a matter of months the boy was kicked out of college, the dad lost his job and the family was about to be evicted. So I would guess percieved honor, shame and 'not being a burden' is a pretty big motivator there.
  7. The last one is often portrayed in fiction, I guess it's "easier" to identify with as it plays into the traditional psychological roles of parenthood - that one must protect kids from the horrors of the world. Is there a statistic as to which type is most common?
  8. Only played the demo, but I like some of the changes.. You can see they added elements from Crusader Kings and Rome into the EU series. I think I might like this a lot. But yeah, gonna wait until it hits 75%
  9. Leaves are falling, it's raining all the time - I haven't seen the sun in 3 days.... did I just move to England? What is this!? Sunday was warm and nice with outdoor festivals and now it's cold and.. damn it's autumn isn't it?
  10. Noo Hoooman! Don't worry I got hi... oh
  11. I went to a random place in the video and found the famous gif.. awesome.
  12. They do, but I wish they were designed a lot greener than they are. I miss rivers, forets and nature here in the brick jungle.
  13. Well the first 500m aren't that interesting and why not spend the hour or so in tougher and prettier landscape anyway. It's in Finse, Norway, but I think the glacier has receeded a lot in the mean time unfortunately.
  14. I'm jealous, I love hiking.. My last trip was Norway some years ago where we walked over a gletcher. Can you use the lifts or do you actually hike all the way up from the valleys?
  15. And I will.. no worries. Zefside, as I said.
  16. So I broke it off with the 2/3 of my age year old - or rather it kinda fizzled on it's on to be precise.. You guys were right. Man I need to meet someone interesting soon..
  17. I realized I'm an immature teenage girl at heart.. Cause I'm laughing so hard at "New Girl" that I'm crying.. I feel good and bad.. *sob* Also watching season 3-5 on The Next Generation to keep my neerdyness at a sufficient level.
  18. .. I discussed this with a friend of mine who studies reproductional pscychology and I could go into lengths on my thought on this subject, but suffice to say that imo, since Humans are social; as such the "eye of the beholder" is also subject to cultural interpretations.. So an ugly man will be found attractive, if enough people say he is.. Emperor's clothes and all that. Now you of course are speculating as to why - and to that I would have to say my guess would be it's a sort of pendulum that responds to social stimuli, so to speak. Here - Beards, recycled clothes and a more rugged look became popular shortly after the crisis hit - and the trend seem to be going towards more and more "classic" (ie the period you mention) male apperances. I think it's due to the fact that the economic climate creates a sort of unconscious need for strong partner, to weather the storm..
  19. and plastic surgery - heh, it's a good idea from a marketing persepctive.. I tihnk it's gonna spread pretty efficiently on social media between gamers.
  20. I hope you'll pass on the condolences of the community.. and that tarna at least died peacefully, surrounded by friends and family.
  21. Is it good? It looks like a very interesting game.. "Paper's Please" - in case you're wondering.
  22. Stella Polaris, electronic party in the old royal garden - it's pretty badass to have the old royal mansion (now used for officer training) and the trimmed hedges/gardens/lakes and trees as backdrop to modern electronic music. Unfortunately it was a little too "family friendly" for my taste - and as always, too many people .. but that's the blessing and curse of big cities.
  23. We had a beautiful clear sky, but so much light pollution that I only saw 2 meteorites..
  24. I think its the latter, guised as the former.
  25. It looks like Dragon Commander. and it looks pretty interesting. I might have to buy it.
