  1. I had an interesting discussion based on an article in a Danish newspaper .. nowadays prime-time TV is filled with 'life-style' programs, which show us how to live our lives .. they show us how to live, or how not too, what food people eat, how they arrange their gardens, how much money they are getting for selling their house, what clothes is in etc etc.. The sheer amount of these kind of programs have exploded (at least on Danish TV), and mediascientists are speculating that these programs serve a use as a sort of social guidiance .. in a society with contiuos flexible norms which are affected by international trends, people are loosing touch with what is "right" .. The solutions range from apathy to a more clear intervention in which trends come in and out of a country (if such a thing is even possible) .. imo it's just shows that people aren't as 'individual' as we like to tell ourselves we are .. it seems we still rely heavily on others opinions .. and when these opinions are becoming increasingly numerous the need for 'normality' and a clearer definition of it, seems to be some kind of new commodity! I see no solution and my discussion earlier this evening was quite fruitless, so I thought I would toss it by here .. to get a new international perspective .. Do you think it's a problem? what can be done? should we even do anything? (or is it just another trend soon to be over?)
  2. Zelda on Nintendo I think .. (if it even falls under the RPG catagory)
  3. it actually is *my* ship .. Bioware approached me before making KOTOR for the rights of using my interstellar ship in their game .. so get *your* facts right buddy!
  4. hehe .. damn you really have to be a nerd to laugh at this stuff .. "no lagging" "and kill the gray stuff too" lol
  5. both had some nice elements .. but Peragus quickly felt to lonely and since you could easily kill the robots you never felt "scared".. I thought the quests of both places where good! it was cool to discover what happened to the miners and it was cool to try and find a way to rescue Bastila! but the tutorial level "Endar Spire survival" vs "Ebon Hawk repair mission" TSL wins .. it felt really cool to control T3 and repair the flying remains of your former ship
  6. ^ that .. and then it's a male Twi'lek and female human .. strange indeed! straight from the best selling magazine "A strange strange galaxy"
  7. I would like to recommend Lewis Carrol's The Hunting of the Snark! I just finished it .. and damn that's a funny/wierd book ...
  8. I enjoy depth/detail more than action/'eyecandy' .. so books/stories which are heavy on dialouge and development is my cup of tea.. that would fall under "Slow, methodical, all patience and detailed" .. but in films and games I would like some acion, not in the "blow up New York" kinda sense, but since they are both visual medias - I want visuals ..
  9. aahh not only swedish iron.. the fact that with Denmark (and Norway to protect from the north), you control the flow of the entire baltic sea, had something to do with it as well I think..
  10. It does.. thanks! seems I know his work, just not his name ..
  11. no need what so ever .. the big storm beast is easily defeated with force powers .. insanity or stun if you want it paralyzed .. and/or kill it with offensive powers or use your saber .. absolutely no need for grenades at all! as I said earlier Force Kill is very effective against the big and small ones .. it both paralyzes and kills and if you throw 2-3 in a row on it it will simple choke to death in front of you..
  12. hmm been checking the internet for the work of Miller .. could someone please post what he's made? that would be great, just to be sure I didn't miss something! I would like to read some of his work before I see the movie! thanks in advance! - Rosbjerg

  14. Zap Brannigan: what makes a man turn neutral? lust for gold? power? or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality??

  18. ^ yeah if it wasn't for the fact that silly Danes roam the world .. I mean it's strange for such a small population of 5 millions to simply be everywhere!
  19. I know so many (or maybe too many) who have adopted that view because it's popular/cool .. which is the most ironic thing.. There's alot of good pop as well .. and just as much crappy pop .. but the same thing goes for every genre!
  20. dude don't post like that ... you sound smarter then.
  21. yes you mentioned you heard the Nocturne in D flat major .. I have about 7 different versions one my favorites are in E minor op 72 no. 1! but his best symphony is Claire de Lune!! it makes a shiver run down my spine every single time ..
