How does that accent sound to you guys btw?

In Bad Company 2 and BF2142 there was/is plenty of teamwork. Especially because you can always switch to a squad that does cooperate - in B3 you are stuck with a squad, so if it sucks then too bad.. On top of that it's such a shame that they took away the leadership positions, because they were pretty good at forcing a group to work together.

I saw it in a dusty cellar, in house from the French colonial area - in downtown Pondicherry, which really helped set the mood. But it really is a remarkable movie. So no, you're not a snob.

Your right, I was just venting. Origin in itself is fair enough - but if they want to challenge steam they need to have some sales and so far their games are more expensive then they were on Steam (B3 is about 10$ more than Bad Company 2 was).

Accidental teamkilling is not a problem, is usually means that the person was trying to cover you.. Walking past a dead guy with defibs however... But I will add you guys - I'd even be willing to stay up to play when you have time (unemployed at the moment heh).

It's slow as **** and the fact that you have to exit and enter the game every single time you change server is extremely annoying - plus your browser has to be open, which is just a waste of RAM... incidentally I'm not impressed with the new "features" as you might tell. And not being able to change squads mid-game...

Caved in and bought Battlefield 3 - I'm not impressed. No one is cooperating and people are playing like it's CoD on the Xbox. I'm usually in the top 5, simply because I actually revive, heal, resupply and assists my team mates. I was actually kicked from a server because they thought I cheated as I had the highest score and only 2 kills (nr 2 had 50 or so).. I'm beginning to be a grumpy gamer.

It's quite fun with friends. But it's too grindy to be a good singleplayer game.

Ironically it'll probably be about at much as I've seen him so far, once or twice a year.

That's good though, it means Steam won't be the only big guy on the market - which should hopefully help with competitive prices... or maybe not.

What do you mean? I think it got plenty of love, it's almost bug free and it took the best from B2 and put it in a futuristic setting. Plus B3 classes are taken directly from 2142.

I play 2142 regularly, there's still a dozen or so servers running and now it's only the "serious" gamers that still hanging around.

My big brother just got a killer job in Japan so I went to the airport to send him off to new adventures.. He'd gotten this guide from a friend, which is actually very serious, but some of the advice are just so alien, and therefore funny, to a European.. My favourite quote was "always remember; a smile on the face and a tear in the heart" in relation to the fact that a Japanese man must never show emotion (under normal circumstances, although they apparently have a word for the occasion when it is allowed).

Yeah but that patching took about 8 months, where a lot of gamers (myself included) couldn't play the game at all. I felt pretty annoyed that I had a machine better than recommended and the game still wouldn't run due to memory leaks.

They've made it impossible to change squad in game and still haven't brought back Commander, which is actually enough to keep me from buying the game. Imho it was one of the best features ever introduced in a multiplayer FPS. But you are right, they've brought back limited spawn and squad leaders, which is a very needed step "forward".
