What you did today
Stop buying expensive new bikes.. They're not better than a used bike for 1/3 of the price. Of course it would be better if people stopped stealing..

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I joined the Stormcloaks because I could identify with the Nords wanting freedom.. they are basically my fantasy setting ancestors.

You could give yourself the perk by creating a txt file (called perk for instance) with player.addperk -whateveritis- .. ingame you write "bat perk" in the console and then spend your extra lvl up perk on something you know you won't use so you aren't cheating. This doesn't affect achivements etc, that's how I've been doing it. You can finde the perk id here.

"Prohibition has failed"
Sorry for the necroposting, but this article has shed some interesting lights on the issue. Seems the world is moving towards legilization?

Better protection obviously and if you have a high enchanting skill then the armor becomes just as good as a robe, but with better protection.

EU criminalises claiming that drinking water stops dehydration
To quote you "Applying the gospel of test everything first would leave us banging rocks together when the asteroid hits."

EU criminalises claiming that drinking water stops dehydration
It would be too optimistic to hope for genetically engineered microbes that turns it into alcohol? So the sea becomes a light cider.. that would be.. interesting.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Maybe this if for you? They don't affect achivements or anything btw.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I agree.. So far their main weakness is story, but they are getting much better at it (I feel like maybe they've learned a little from Obsidian ).

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Does playing a High Elf affect the main story? What I mean is, do you have to side with either the Empire or the rebellion?

EU criminalises claiming that drinking water stops dehydration
Yes.. and then please clarify this; does bottled water hydrate more than other water sources and is it ok for someone to imply that?

EU criminalises claiming that drinking water stops dehydration
I guess it's more that people from over the rainbow never learned to read.

EU criminalises claiming that drinking water stops dehydration
I think it's all very well spelled out at the bottom of the article you supplied; Prof Brian Ratcliffe, spokesman for the Nutrition Society, said dehydration was usually caused by a clinical condition and that one could remain adequately hydrated without drinking water. He said:

I can do that too.. So if they claim that their car is the best, is totally fab and can get you where you want in a safe and clean way - while in fact it's a polluting petrol guggling monster that is actually much slower than taking a bus.. Is that ok? False advertising is a dangerous thing to turn a blind eye to. And besides, why do they even want to add that "slogan", if it's so selfevident then isn't it really an insult to their customers intelligence to write it? It seems to me that you are more interested in finding faults with the EU, which is fine - I don't like them either, but don't misrepresent what they are doing.

EU criminalises claiming that drinking water stops dehydration
I think that's perfectly reasonable - as the last quote says I think bottled water is much more insane and it's been proven time and time again that it's worse than tap water, which they all to often claim it's not..

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Well all the audio and stats are there in the previous games.. So wait about 2-3 years for mods to have made everything from caves to cities and then port it all into a massive mod. They did it for Fallout Vegas where you could travel to D.C and since Oblivion is essentially the same engine I think a crafty modder should be able to do it. Hmm, it seems like you could go to in Oblivion as well - so maybe they just add the surrounding areas in case players wander off or something.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
If you're buying for the PC, just be sure to wait until the reviews are in - worst case scenario, it won't be playable for a few months after release, judging by previous titles.
-
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Hmm that's interesting, there's even a rough model of the imperial tower. DLCs perhaps? They've certainly made enough money to actually implement 2/3 of Tamriel.
-
What are you playing now?
Hmm, true - funny that it's the exact same problems I had with GTAIV. But I've kinda lost confidence in Rockstar as PC developer now, even though it was Bondi's engine, Rs had the responsibility as publishers to make sure the game was playable when released.
-
What are you playing now?
I bought it, but Rockstar sucks at optimizing for PC - I should've learned my lesson back when I bought GTA IV, it took six months before the game would even run. Same problem here, memory leaks, stuttering, extreme fluctuations in framerate.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Sheathe/unsheate and unlock shout as you know.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I can only speak for myself but I was tired of Oblivion after about 5 hours and I've played about 20 or so in Skyrim and I'm still having fun.

You should join the brotherhood, you get a set of gauntlets that give double sneak attack damage.. The 30x multiplier usually kills anything.
