In this guys defense A KOTOR MMORPG COULD acutally wokr out. THat means "A" KOTOR RPG casue galxies sucks. but it woudl be cool to see one as logn is it has absolutely nohting to do with teh KOTOR RPG seires for Xbox it woudl have to be soemthing completely different but based in the same timre period so that they could have massive amount of SIth and Jedi and get away with it. Since the reason they made it so difficult to be a jedi in galxies is becasue they didnt want everyone to be one which would make teh game unrealistic accoridng to the tiem period. BUt in teh tiem of Kotor havine thousands of jedi and sith exist in teh galaxy could work. In short a MMORPG in teh KOTOR timeperiod woudl be fun and coudl work IF done right, but it shoudl have nohting to do with teh Solo xbox RPG and should not even follow the same gameplay format. Edit: hades you know galaxies is teh worst MMORPG ever so don't tell people to play it, thats liek seeling crack to little kids jsut to ruin their minds and waste their money.

yeah kotor 2 was so good it made me want to play KOTOR again. Basically KOTOR 2 surpasses KOTOR 1 in every single possible aspect. No comparison its just a suped up veriuson of KOTOR which makes it the best Xbox RPG of all time. WOudl be better if teh Jedi ocuncil let me join them though....

everyone is playing this game on difficult and nto normal right? cause i dided several tiems against multiple jedi. Plus ur syaing its easy based soley on the fighting. But think about the following points. -It had soem interesting puzzles that challenged the mind -It had a more complex system of leveling and character interaction which up the difficulty of the game by making it more complex and involved -How much mroe difficult can you make the gmae, please tell mei jsut want to know its no easy than any other RPG i can think of, it took me 4 and a half hours to beat a single level how is that easy.

Ok you wanna here a great story about how addictive this game is? Here it goes i went out to the mall and bought this gaem at 1:30 and got back at 2. I immidiately start playing and do not eat dinner even though my family calls me up for food. I don't even drink untill 9:00 PM. I stayed up untill 6:30 AM playing the game all night non-stop no bathroom break no food break and I swear on that. I heard my father upstairs turning the water on to take a shower as he got up and i pretty much stopped reading teh dialoug so i realized it awas tiime to sleep. I turn off teh Xbox, HOLD ON THIS HAS A POINT, and sleep for six hours wake up at twelve on the very same couch i had been on all night playing meaning i havnt gotten upsince 2 PM the previous day. Anyway its 12 PM when i wake up after 6 hours sleep. and i immidiatley start playing again, I cant stop untill i beat teh game and at this point im about 3/7s done with the game beat Peragus, Taris, and Halfway through Dantooine. Ok im gettign somewhere with this. I play untill 3 and my dad tells me hes goign out for pizza so i say great im starving. An hour later he still ahsnt come and i think i was just finishing up with dantooine. All of a sudden i get a taste in my mouth. I get teh most potent ctraving for ice cold coca cola i have ever had in my life. IT was as if i could taste it. Bare in mind i havnt gotten off the couch in 24 hours except to turn my XBOX off at 6 AM and on at 12PM. SO i say ok im thirsty im goignup for a drink. I stand up and feel a little dizzy since i have been liying down for HOURS UPON HOURS. i stagger up the stairs and try to shkae it off. Then I open up the pantry to get out a glass and i look in it at i see a spec of soemthign and decide i don't want to dirnk out of a glass with a spec so i take a plastic cup instead. I go to the freezer open it up for ice and a wave of disorientation washes over me and im like "Holy SH*T" I feel so funny its great!!" SO anyway i start putting ice in my glass then all of a sudden.... BLack all blackk i feel nothing and the only thing that takes me out of the black is the sound of my body hitting teh floor. I blacked out from hours of liign down not eating or goign to teh bathroom. So i am lieing there seeign all black but somewhat concies awaken by the sound of my boddy hititng teh floor my mom comes in and pulsl me up and she says what happend hows ur head! All i can sayt is.. I blacked out and im stunned since i have never fainted or anythign before so it was kidna cool. she pulls me to a chair and i dont knwo if you all have lost a lot of blood before but thats what it felt liek. My skin turned white and moist i was dazed and could barely talk. the ENTIRE LEFT SIDE OF MY BODY WENT NUMB AND I COULDNT HEAR OUT OF THE LEFT EAR. My collar bone area was bleeding, i dotn knwo why, liek i said i dont rember the fall only the sound. I dont wake out of the daze till my dad comes home gives me my usualy 4 slices and a hawian punch... Then i go back down to play more KOTOR 2. THAT my good fellows is how good thsi game is the first play through it is the most addictive game ever, even more so than the first KOTOR whcih too keppt me up all night till teh crakc of dawn playing. Needless to say it took me three and a half days of playing and about 37 hours of playiong tiem but i took longer than 37 hours to actually beat it, i dont knwo how though. THe poster of this thread said if it was any longer it woudl have had seriosu helth repercussions, well it already did and im living proof, i fractured my collar bone form teh fall, its a hairlien faracture nothign serious, but still, come on now. THank you obsidian, thank you. EDIT: Hades your wrong. your a Jedi master for Christ's sake, your nto supposed to have any trouble killing weak opponents. TH eonly main bad parts about teh game are as follows: 1-Not enogh jedi fighitng through the game, that is i wanted to fight dakr jedi and stuff at all teh rolds, and i wnated to fight sith lords throughout the entire game, but that only comes at teh end. 2- Battles between you and Sith lords or Jedi Master's don't take long enough they are over in 3 seocnds even if you almost die in the fight, they just end quickly 3-Story line was AMAZING, but left too many unanswered questions and deadlines a couple of things. Plus i hated taht even as Lgiuhtside teh jedi council is killed and u dont have a hand in protecitn gthe Jedi order. VBery dissappointing u cant get atris in you party and i didnt like how ugly she was made, don tknwo if that bothered anyoen else. EDIT 2: -ALso i thought there were too many girls in teh party, -not enough Jedi rovbes available, not enough collor jedi robes I.E. no blue jedi knight robes. -BAO- DuR was a FRICKEN NERD!! i wanted him to be a Darht maul badass or a ANti Darth maul jedi guardian.

Every1 saysing they were death machiens but thats not truefor me. PLaying at the max difficulty setting u can run itno soem rough patches. Guardian with jedi master was what i chose my first time.. simply becasue i wanted to have the title of Jedi master but it worked out well but towards the end when u have mastered most lightside skills, you have to more powers than u knwo wat to do with and u dont realistically use them all in battle except on the last world. My only regret for not going guardian weapon master was that i couldn't use some of the ridiculous combat stances where u can fight 30 guys at once.. that was a little dissappointing and i didnt use the force stances that u get taught by becoming a jedi master.

Maybe if ur light side u can lick the sores of lepores and clean them... Don't knwo how this woudl give u money but ur not suppposed to earn money as a Jedi, the council shoudl really jsut ship u moeny when it is required... But i hate the thug aspect of the DS so hoepfully u dotn pressure peopel into droppign u a few spare credits. Credits arnt even necessary in the game.. they are kinda pointless....why are we talkign about them?

no, clothes over armort is kinda wierd.. Think about master chief in Halo witha straw hat on and overalls over his armor...No, it would jsut be stupid.. Jedi robes or armor, thats the SW universe. You will play with Robes and u WILL like it!! ^_^

There will be WEATHER effects in the new game. so hey, take what u can get. Plus how much would that really effect the game? Not worth the trouble in my opinion. WEather effex are good enough for me

YOu shoudl be able to choose ur voice from, the star from like 20 people. 10 men and 10 women. That would be ideal, but i highly doubt it is goign to happend because it woudl take a lot of money to hirte all of those actors and a of time to record all of the saysings so most likely, you character will not be capable of speech.

well i dont think it actually uses DVDs simply because u can not find the logo ANYWHERE on teh box, but it must not uses CD's becasue it takes 4 cds on the PC and just one on the Xbox.

well if i had to rate KOTOR i woudl give it a 9.5 out of 10 It is simply the BEST Xbox RPG... Provides at least 30 hours of REPLAY. Has a good plot twist Has decent fighitng scenese, OSmewhat repetitive and has soem pause in between rounds, but not TOO bad. Kotor 2 will hopefully fix this error. I jsut think with a modified 20 level system that does not use D20 as rules but rather GUIDELINES, i would THoroughly enjoy KOTOR and if it has all this stuff then ill probably end up givng it a 9.7

Better options for teh singel lightsaber casue its more romantic. Most SKILLEd Jedi use it like Yoda and windu so it must have much better advantages.

I think NWN has created a huge following because of all the custom content and creativity that it allows. I ran a persistant world server using NWN that allowed up to 30 people to log in and play at the same time. There was a lot of adventuring, role playing, player vs player duels, and much more. When things were going good, I would add new content and places to explore almost weekly. When we didn't have new content or quests we would have PvP tournaments and offer prizes to the winners. It's a lot of fun. I just wish I could do the same with a Star Wars game. Btw, players on my server also had their own homes installed that they could design themselves. Imagine having your little jedi hovel hidden in some forest someplace that you designed and decorated yourself. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> WLle then design a NEW engine for KOTOR 3 jsut add tiddbits of NWN but dont go aroudn modleign a Starwars engine that works adn is oproven around another game's

Well, possibly yes, but i do not have a problem with enviorment sizes; they are just fine the way they are maybe a TAD small, but nothign to cry about. The game is not supposed to be a Massive RPG like FF8 where you can spend tens of hours just running around aimlessly. As for graphix, well yes it is TECHINCALLY the Xbox's fault for the graphix being slightly less than outstanding. HOWEVER, it is important to remember that if the graphics were to be in the highest capabilites of the most modern graphics card and a gig of ram, well, most PC owners would simply not be able to play the game anyway seeing as many owners do not have the most advanced specifications. THerefore, one could argue, XBOX is the happy median

It has a dvd PLAYER, but i do not think it has teh cabailiteis to play DVD-ROMs as games seeing aas how u need to buy a special attachment in order to play them, and even so its primative at best. Nevertheless KOTOR is better on Xbox, ive played it for both PC and Xbox and i must admit, while msot games ARE better on the PC, Xbox is the way to go with kotor. If you have one that is; no sense in runnign out and buying the Xbox just for KOTOR, but given the choice, i suggest teh Xbox.

Yeha it was the moves, i not teh noises too much either, becasue teh lightsaber fighitng noises never change, they are pretty much the same in every game and film so it the moves that set a game apart action wise. One of the things i did not liek about KOTOR was that sometimes there was liek a 3 secodn delay inbetween turns, liek if the opponent is paralysed and u complete an attack, the PC jsut sits there for 3 seconds then continues his next round of atacking, that was dumb

I have NO problem with them making games after rotj AFTER they put out a good 5 or 6 KOTOR games that cement points in starwars history. THen, after a nice long line of KOTOR games, they can move onto something else, but the game After KOTOR 3 shoudl not be KOTNR.

ehh.. i doubt it actually, most casual gamers never even picked up Mororwind because of its reutation.

Or maybe they didnt use them because teh D20 rules arnt fun in what they wanted to create a median between D20 and a fast paced action game... i think i forgot what we are arguing about...

Hey dotn Dis the BOX.... i personnally think the game play is better on the box, more comfortable adn more personanale, not all game play, just in Kotor. (if you debating on getting it for PC or BOx .. go for the box, my friened bought it on the PC and he admtis its better on Xbox), If they make it too big the graphix go down which would be bad!!! BAD BAD BAD, they would not be able to have the battle sequences as exciting, now you may be saying "HEY! the battle scenes in KOTOR were repetitive and not that good!" and you would be right but imagine how bad they WOULD be if they made the worlds bigger and more comlicated...
