I think whats going to decide this is who can make the transition the easiest, where as Houston has the facilities in place, I would wonder how they could justify a team in Houston being in the Atlantic division, not that Pittsburg made much more sense. Perhaps realignment? As for the canadian team, until they relax their taxes on pro-franchises you're going to see more teams leaving Canada then going there. BTW The Blackhawks won, so atleast they aren't losing to the likes of St. Louis
  2. You might be exaggerating a bit, but you seem to have the basic principal down. Who's the big winner to day, Volourn thats who
  3. Ya the new jobs are great, too bad they don't pay nearly as well as the ones that have been lost.
  4. Fionavar, I'm a little surprised that you left this thread open since the story is eerily similiar to the first time we meet.
  5. I agree the problem with america is when we got rid of the nation states, things would be much sweeter here in Texas if we didn't have Arkansas and Oklahoma mooching off us all the time, they're like clinging 20 somethings that move back in after we already paid for them to go to college.
  6. Most of us have developed a pretty thick skin to Hades and his incessant whining, the boards wouldn't be the same without him.

  10. The jehovah's witness in me wants to tell you you're putting yourself before god. But the atheist in me wants to send you a stripper and a san pedro cactus. We'll see who wins out.
  11. I won't disagree with you, but what emo is has changed from my childhood punkscene definition. Back then it didn't all the way suck, but ya it still sucked. I'm pretty sure I hear She Sells Sanctuary coming from the livingroom

  16. Well, perhaps looking into state programs, there are some that might bus you out of town to work during the day. Also marrying rich could do you some good.
  17. and you've tried Iowa Wrokforce Development and the University? The University doesn't run free buses?
  18. You live in Ames?
  19. Your town has no public transportations?
  20. Isn't your county famous for bridges, perhaps working on them could help you.
  21. You need some Emo bands that no one has ever heard of. Mix in some Pavement(only the first album) and talk about how you used to like the Shins before Garden State came out any you're most of the way there.
