Well I just finished A Game of Thrones, and I'm pretty antsy to start A Clash of Kings, but I think I'll hold off on any fantasy for a bit I've been swamped with it lately. I think I'll read Bukowsky's Slouching Towards Nirvana, one of the posthumous releases I haven't gotten to read.

I'm listening to an album comprised of different songs using the tonkori by various Ainu artist. Basically its a giant fretless soundboard, its beautiful. The harmonics produced by the instrument are haunting.

I can't really say why I role-play since I haven't been much of a participant the last couple of years, but one trend I've noticed is that I have the tendency to gravitate towards doing things I can't do in real life. Football is not really one of those things. I don't doubt that they could make a game that had some neat elements, I don't think I could really get into it.
