I think they said that robes will either be up or down, but you won't be able to move the hood up and down on an idividual robe, basically it will be predetermined if the robe has a hood or not.

Well how many classes would a jedi have to choose from? The basic question would be, are you going to train to be one with the force, or are you going to wield a lightsaber better then the average jedi. Maybe a balance? Seems pretty logical to me, but if you really have big problems with it then theres always pen and paper.
