  1. Wasn't an option in PoE1 won't be in Deadfire. Unless if you can somehow become one/change orders in the course of the game.
  2. This should have been already solved with: And I think you can also auto-pause on spotting traps.
  3. Well it seems characters open space for each other with sliding to the sides in the gameplay vids, maybe the above topic won't be needed.
  4. They changed scouting to not effect spotting traps/hidden objects but I think it still has an effect, my characters were finding stuff just as I switch to scouting mode in v3.05 of the game.
  5. They said this time traps will be somewhat visible even if not detected.
  6. Looking too much into it. Tis just clothing either with most likely gloves or placeholder hands.
  7. ...anyway: https://jesawyer.tumblr.com/post/162129468546/the-newly-started-kickstarted-pathfinder-game-has
  8. Lower bonuses part...even if you don't have food you get some bonus? There should be negative effects, f.i. hungry status effect: -2 to all stats. And food spoil mechanic I guess.
  9. Sounded like Aloth/Matt Mercer. Yeah, definitely sounded like Aloth. Certainly wasn't main man Eder this time. It could have been Thaos as well, did Thaos and Aloth have the same VA? Aloth & Eder did.
  10. In the vids? I don't think those were live gameplays. There are like 3 instant transitions(upper deck, chieftain's house & one inside the ruins) seem legit but can't know for sure. Don't think it'll instantly transition from ship to settlement tho, like in the video.
  11. Next week Adam will be talking over the IGN video and describing what is going on there in depth. While it is the same video, we'll be explaining things in a way that we didn't get to do during E3 and we hope you all dig that. Hope Andy also brings last 4 mins of the video, he said 15 mins
  12. Yeah. Paradox Arctic made it apparently. Well the better news is this made the news all over the interwebz in couple of hours than Deadfire could ever in a week long E3. Good publicity for the IP
  13. Don't think so. And some other dev(paradox arctic) ported it apparently.
  14. He paid for that combination dearly. I made sure of it :D Seriously, I don't care even if he wielded a ****. I care about my character & party. Btw. off topic: > http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/92907-poe-coming-to-xbox-and-ps4-on-august-29th-best-news-ever/
  15. I don't want my priest wielding swords, axes....basically any melee weps except staffs. Now I expect next 10 page to be devoted of all PoE melee weapons' merits IRL
  16. "It feels wrong to me" is what I meant to convey with writing "Its just wrong :D", shoulda been easy to decipher, oh well. Anyway, I hear that new Obs game Deadfire is pretty cool.
  17. So what do you want me to acknowledge? It doesn't sit well with me imagining a priest fighting with a dagger, which doesn't have anything to do with anyone from making such characters. Do I HAVE TO be comfortable with it?
  18. First of all its crowdfunding done right: They have used crowdfunding again to increase the successful first game's budget, scope up the game not to mention the technological leap unlike some other devs who crowdfund their sequels & make them in the same confines they made the first game in. Second; what Adam(or Andy :D) says in the thank you video between 0:45-1:25 + crew system. Third; all the design parallels between Deadfire & New Vegas.
  19. You can "one trust to the right spot" and kill with many things; a knife, a pencil... You wouldn't enter a medieval battle with a dagger in hand if you have options. Daggers are essentially medieval side-arms, but made so they can be main weapons & used in open battles in RPGs, so RL references & how good daggers are in RL meaningless here, talk about daggers for what they are in RPGs. And again, I'm not questioning daggers' place in the game; I like daggers when a rogue dual-wields them the best and I frown upon if a paladin or priest wields it If you can find a valid concept and the game allows it so you can make dagger wielding paladins & priests, good for you. You would never enter a battle with a dagger in hand because it's a side-arm, but that doesn't mean you wouldn't employ it in battle. Especially in later periods where plate armour started to be used, a dagger was an effective sidearm to have because given its size and length it was very efficient and accurate at getting between the plates of the armour and dealing a lethal wound to your adversary (in close quarters and once the other knight was disabled, that is). This is my understanding anyhow, and I don't see why it would be so incongruent with the world of Eora too. Why do you guys need to tell me how awesome a dagger is in RL again & again? Daggers are awesomER in RPGs, cos they are so good so you would employ daggers as main weps in open battle. How do you guys interpreting me not liking certain character concepts' wielding daggers to me questioning daggers' merits?
  20. Ooor earlier!? Depends on your party, if they are eager to sacrifice their tank to save their skin, they'd say that. But the tank is already valiant, only says and does hodor. ed: changing its name from hodor mechanic to hodor protocol. ACTIVATE HODOR PROTOCOL! rip eder.
  21. Hmn. Does this mean food replaces camping supplies and he's worried people will rest-spam?
  22. But your tank won't say "I'll hold them off, RUN!", in a hodor mechanic your tank only says "hodor", repeatedly. Hodor.
  23. Too complicated. Maybe a hodor mechanic? But your tanks dies permanently.
