The general's bodyguard is a small unit of Elephant musketeers, so providing you have the funds you can spawn up to the maximum number of generals and bolster a weak army with elephant tanks wherever needed.

What exactly is good about the story and dialogue in Deadspace. 'Better' is a relative term. It plays well, but dialogue, story... There is no attempt to relate to the main character at all, you get com messages and annoying cutscenes. There are some good bossfights and some areas of variation, such as spacewalking, but the rank and file enemy encounters get pretty 'cut and paste' after a while.

Mine seem to be blissfully related to steam checks during the AI turns, I can just reload and have another go, usually does the trick.

The crews have a fraction next to them, 2/4, 4/4, thats how many guns are left after the melee, the rest are assumed to be destroyed even though there is no animation for it. If there are no guns left they turn into a melee unit.
