  1. I need a new drive as well I, I have several OS, Ubuntu, two different versions of windows, one 64 and one 32 bit installed on the same drive. This is not a very good idea, and will probably end in misery. Whats the best value for money SSD these days ?
  2. Looks cool, I'd play the game. Maybe this time the person(s) responsible for fundamental functionality and ease of use in design and gameplay won't have quite so many brain hemorrhages.

I just used the basic raider badlands armor, nice skin and theres spares everywhere, until I found the combat armor that gives extra APs, I used that for the rest of the game, although it was 100% damaged several times. Fortunately the merchants have combat armor. In any case you are better off using inventory space on weapons than on armor that's doing to disintegrate regardless. Just use what the majority of the enemy is wearing and toss it when you need the space.
  4. I understand it's common to do some damage while doing CPR, theres a rib cage and you really have to hammer away for that pressure to translate to the heart, but can you kill anyone while performing CPR. Say if you haven't detected a weak pulse and respiration.
  5. I thought the spirit eater thing was enormously annoying. I too dislike time trials intensely. Maybe it's the way it was introduced, at the end of the intro dungeon as a wall of text carrying new rules and an annoying addition to your HUD. I would have preferred a conscious choice A, become a spirit eater and accept that you were going to go through the game always looking for the next meal, or B. Resist and never hear of it again. Sure after you had played the game a while you realized that you could resist and suffer only minimal consequences, but first impressions and the first playthrough should be of the greatest importance.
  6. Well philosophically doing nothing is just as much an action as doing something. That is to say both choices carry unique results. In these legal instances it would depend on whether there was any physical threat to yourself. i.e. if you watched a 6 year old strangle another 6 year old and did nothing, that would carry with it the most extreme result imaginable. Your inaction would make you accomplice to murder.
  7. The article says he didn't kill anyone, but allowed a baby to be killed and stood by without doing anything. Completely lacking a sense of moral, sure, but a demonstrable threat in the future. That's not so certain, and that was the legal question regarding his sentence.
  8. First step would be to remove their profiles so the husband can access the files they want to backup, next would be reinstalling.
  9. What about fraud, don't you have to produce picture id. I understand it's pretty common to just borrow a card from someone ensured and pretend to be that person.
  10. The only paperwork I've had to fill out for the NHS as long as I can remember is signing my name to acknowledge receipt of medicine. They just asked me to swipe my card, either that or state my social security number.

When the characters spend all their time reacting to a threat that the viewer knows, with absolute certainly, is false. That's not a good thing.
  12. It's for kids, nothing interesting about the characters or the story. The CGI isn't bad though, and they manage to move things along just fast enough to keep you from getting bored.
  13. Apparently being hung like a donkey is a problem.

So far it's got that sitcom feel to it that regardless of what happens at the end the reset button is pressed and everything returns to the default setting.

Me too, lacks for originality. Way too soon to settle into a predictable formula.
  16. @ numbers. A bit too obersturmfuhrer
  17. Yeah, very army. Maybe there has been more progress on 'don't ask, don't tell' than we were led to believe. http://www.1starmy.com/products.asp?subCategory=1095
  18. ohh yeah lol, I missed a floor trigger and had to endure that old crone endlessly while running around trying to make sure I had done all I needed to proceed. The camera auto zoom is particularly ill suited to that type of dungeon, but that's something they were never able to fix.
  19. The only thing I dislike about the game is that it's epic, it removes tactics from spell casting when there is always a gazillion spells to chose from cluttering up the action bars.
  20. The trouble is if there's trouble, and it then simmers. They think they have you all figured out making new beginnings very difficult indeed. It's worth figuring out though. There aren't that many people who know you as well as the people you grow up with, in the end.
  21. If your cell looses reception all of a sudden, you know you are in a B movie.
  22. I thought this was about the black isle band
  23. I wonder what clicking those did to my computer.
  24. I don't think there is anybody saying that now, well except those who are automatically against military intervention regardless of circumstance. There are problems with the deployment in Afghanistan and progress is very slow. Again we have allied ourselves with corrupt elements for lack of better, and the argument could be made that we are just perpetuating the problem unless we succeed in winning hearts and minds.
  25. Well it's obvious that you can keep coming up with excuses and rationalizations why you shouldn't do things, but when you are doing something that affects others, the bad excuses reveal themselves for what they are.
