Divinity II - The Dragon Knight Saga
Blade of Darkness was indeed awesome, and this time it's not just nostalgia talking. Too bad it can only run on win98 virtual machine, doesn't work in compatibility mode, and it's also very prone to driver related crashes. I wish GoG would give it a workover. Two worlds 2 has the best melee system I have seen in a long while, unfortunately it was the only good thing about the game.

FO: NV (Tech Support)
Steam has this ATI driver wizard where you just press a button and it does everything itself, including restarts. I love it.

Divinity II - The Dragon Knight Saga
I got Risen, it's garbage. I just can't get over the bad voice acting. Everyone talks very slowly, like they were hit on the head, or maybe a result of island in-breeding ?. They sure spend a lot of time going on about the bleedin' obvious. I have taken to pressing escape instantly and then trying to reverse engineer the conversation from my list of replies, then checking the journal if it was a quest. I guess I can gift it. (j/k)

Food
I'm eating carrots. To lose weight. It doesn't work if you eat them by the bag though, also they contain a vitamin you can overload on, or so I hear.

Unfortunately you are such a positive and 'glass half full' kinda guy that you like everything, which is a good thing of course, just not when it comes to game recommendations.

How is Risen. I'm wanting to play an RPG and I can't find anything good.

A government warns school not to not celebrate Christmas
I actually got physically ill when a colleague started decorating our workspace with Christmas junk. I have violently hated Christmas since about the age of 18.

What are you playing now
I couldn't get into it, after I spent all my arrows trying to kill a peasant woman for practice with my expert mongol archer I gave up. I also didn't really understand the core gameplay. I trucked around in what I took to be map mode without encountering anything other than scattered towns - what do you do in this game ?.

What you did today
he really walked into that one.

The Vatican advocates for genetic engineering to feed the world's poor
The Catholic church is a conservative institution, you have to look outside it for innovation. Galileo, Martin Luther, all had to pay a high price for defying convention.

Witcher 2 'leaked' video
Europeans always get more cleavage. It's called 'Localisation'. J.E. Sawyer taught me that.

Korea
Young patriots with a lot of get up and go, the same melding of personal, economic and national goals that had overthrown the old order in the Meiji restoration - the same kind of people who colonized India for the British Empire. Progress and national imperatives, at any cost. These kinds of people don't stop to think of the consequences of starting wars they can't win. Early military success leads to an unrealistic appraisal of your own capability, much like Hitler when he decided that invading Russia would be a good idea.

Is this really true?
Yeah that was broken all the times i tried it as well. Always wound up killing them to force a result.

What are you playing now
I thought the icons were all over the place. Special move to dispatch a zombie or help one of your companions ? - the entire screen would be blocked out by the symbol just to remind you that it was possible. Did much to ruin the feel. I can imagine it would be fun playing it with a few friends though.

You're getting Wikileaks for breakfast, lunch, and tea for the next few months, kids
There are no japanese nouns that end in plain 'k' because of the hiragana sound groups. Good rule of thumb for you there.

Wasn't it something like 55.000 pages. Who knows what's in there that they didn't happen to notice right away.

STEAM!
You have already written, but I would suggest pointing out that you have a good relationship with STEAM, and that it would be a mistake to let a few chance mouse clicks ruin it.

Take over
I kinda think Stargate is lower quality sci fi. Even if the new series is a big leap forward. It's not a brand that would make me run out and get the game.

Korea
Well, I think with the US' nuclear launch detection capabilities it would be over before it began. I also think whatever remains of N. Korean leadership must know that they will lose if things get out of hand. They 'win' by engaging in exactly the kind of brinkmanship and provocation they have been doing all along.

Iran can also use these statements to tout its claim that the Arabs states are hypocritical in their support for groups like Hamas Well, they are, aren't they.

Movies you've seen recently
it seems to me a sequel would be pretty easy to write. No matter what you come up with it's almost guaranteed to better than the first one.
