  1. I don't have time to play Friday when some ****tard decided I could finally have the game I bloody paid for, I have time NOW. *grumble*
  2. You couldn't remap the most useful keys in FO3 either, like the pipboy and such. Well you could, but it would revert after loading a game. I recommend a gaming mouse with lots of buttons you can assign to any key you like. You would think full functionality of key remapping would be the worlds easiest job for the coders (not that I really know anything about it). Lots of games these days are just lazy about it.
  3. with respect, F Just thought I'd toss that out there. *highfive* Congrats! Excuse me, but what is all this ?
  4. Reign of Assassins Basically it's Michelle Yeoh and sortof an assassin love triangle thing going on. Sound like you have seen it all before ?, well this time the characters are more well defined and the whole getup less poetic and 'flying around like supermanish'. I absolutely love it, I'm gonna go see it again when it comes out in the theaters here.
  5. The term is 'recovering hippie'. One day at a time... one day at a time.
  6. I didn't know you needed internet to activate games for consoles. I mean there are so many other options, they could even make their own cartridges. I guess it's all part of a business strategy though, force them online and you automatically have a gazillion new potential users of your online store, or whatever Xbox calls it.
  7. This is the new reality with PC games, get used to it. STEAM is the limit of what I will put up with, but I will put up with it. I suggest you do the same. Crying about it is not gonna help.
  8. Those things are the scourges of petting zoos everywhere. You do not want to encroach on their territory or your thighs will pay for the trespass. We had a few in my hippie commune days. The dogs knew enough to give them a wide berth.
  9. Does it have to be a real person?. If not I nominate Ari Gold. I don't know for what, actually finding a category is going to be a major problem, but he deserves something for making me crack up all last night. He and Johnny Drama are comedy gold.
  10. You don't need to be online to play it, just to activate the game. doesn't always work like promised though. i currently have one game (Stalker Clear Sky) which STEAM insiststs is 'unavailable' even though it's installed. Client updates also sometimes causes problems with the logon information you need stored to play offline, and you won't be able to play until you can log on again. I don't want to exaggerate, it's not a common occurrence, but enough to be annoying when it does happen.
  11. I went and did something stupid and ordered the cat in the bag. pre-loading on steam now. If it sucks heads will roll. I'm sayin', it better not suck. m'kay...
  12. but waiting a year for 0.05 % extra game play and a new shooter and suit of armor does seem a bit extreme.
  13. Why ?, DLCs are usually crap.
  14. What's that behind the head, did someone bash his head and he's leaking brain ?. Quick-masking takes like 5 seconds.
  15. What the hell kind of skull****ery is this anyway. Why do they get to have it 4 days ahead of me ?
  16. It's worth the risk, even for the integrity of the award. I don't think this inflames anything above standard levels whenever a western state leader points out the obvious about China's human rights record.
  17. I don't get the Obama thing. Is it because he's black and the president ?. I mean excuse the innuendo, I would hate to agree with some of his racist detractors, but what the hell did he do, or even plan to do, to deserve it ?. Starstruck committee members more likely. Now this guy really did put his own safety at risk for civil rights.
  18. Well, a peace prize based on results versus one chosen with the (vain) hope of changing things. The committee has a long tradition of being activist. To me it would be a completely pointless trophy if it was only after the fact, but to each hos own I guess. Trying a lot is not the same as succeeding a lot. Yeah but the Nobel prize is now for future deeds and not for what it has actually been done. I think that sunk in about when they gave it to Arafat and Rabin. Leave the cash prize and the pat on the shoulder for the doctors and poets, the peace prize is supposed to be reaching.
  19. Anyone who finds daddy Neeson interesting needs to read more books. FO 3's story was actually good. It just had a very disappointing ending and didn't stand a replay. The first time around though, top marks.
  20. Yep. Every one in a while, not often, just enough to **** with you because they can, the game will refuse to load if you aren't online. Prepare for the desire to toss your monitor out the window.
