What you did today
They handle baptismal records and such, which you would need to construct a fake identity, or if you happen to have lost yours.

What you did today
In case anyone cares, here churches are on the government tit. Financing comes through a special tax, less than one percent , which you CAN opt out of, it takes writing a formal letter declaring your wish no to belong to the Church of Denmark. Few bother, and hence there is money to hire priests and upkeep of churches.

What you did today
I dunno... Because sleeping in would bore me more ?

Dragon Age 2
So... is it any good. I thought DA1 was ok but the engine looked old and battered even when it was brand new. How does it play.

Libya
If you worry too much about where your weapons end up you obviously don't have the particular constitution you need to be an arms merchant. Same story everywhere.

News: Japan's Earthquake
There was a film. The documentary on Discovery was better though. It was one of those deals with bad actors interspaced with narration.

Libya
We tried bombing him several times before, didn't take.

News: Japan's Earthquake
What about ground water, seems to me you could dig wells pretty easily, the water supply was from lakes out of convenience more than anything else. Unless it's already polluted with something else.

Libya
So what happens when it becomes obvious that the rebellion can't be won with air assist alone. Are we hoping to cut another deal with Ghadaffi in the vein of Bosnia here ? What about the French foreign legion, seems like a good match for training and troop bolstering purposes. I'm sure we would all prefer for the Libyans not to have foreign troops om the ground, but they are not equipped to defeat Gadaffis forces as of yet, and we have already picked a side and got stuck in, can't sit on the fence now.

News: Japan's Earthquake
I don't know if I would trust anything coming from official sources if I lived in Tokyo, I mean they would withhold information to avoid a panic if they had to. No wonder people are hamstering water.

News: Japan's Earthquake
Meltdown doesn't necessarily mean mushroom cloud. It shouldn't. That's what they have been saying on the news all day anyway. Remember, it wasn't built and operated by inept Commies.

News: Japan's Earthquake
My old japanese grammar teacher from uni is on the tube doing filler about Japan while they roll the same footage every 15 minuites. Natural disasters, what are you gonna do. **** happens. Looks like the death toll is less than expected, but infrastructure will be in recovery mode for a long time.

Dragon Age 2
I feel a little bit like getting the game, I'm hoping it will pass as I would most certainly regret it.

FO: NV (DLC)
Not having the option of choosing what version you want to run for your steam software, that's really not a particularly good idea. They should fix that. Quite often an update will screw something up while fixing something else, and there is the whole mod thing to consider. Anyway I played through Dead Money, not a single CTD this time, I guess all the stars aligned or something. After my head exploded the millionth time the whole slave colar/invisible death zones thing did start to feel very contrived. Also I found it rather interesting that my companion Overall the feel was right though, I dunno if it was worth 10E, but I never felt disappointed in the quality.

Is... *nothing* sacred?
Temple of Doom is one of my favorites. The Indian pantheon is really cool.

Assassin's Creed 1 & Uncharted 1
AsCreed 1 is garbage. AsCreed 2 is pretty decent, then it gets repetitive and irreversibly boring around the half way mark. Let me spoil the ending, because it really is *something* Your char goes 'the ****', and that's it, credit roll.

Diplomacy fail
Couple of years ago. didn't they foil an attempt to take down the government. Am I remembering this wrong ?. This would be in reverse, the winds of change seem to be blowing in the middle east to use the hippie terminology, this is good thing, and an opportunity, no ?
-
Diplomacy fail
Interventionism works really great if it's a fight you can win with a short commitment. Compare Congo to say, Afghanistan. Maybe this is one of those times. Too bad there are no surplus resources for that kind of stunt.
-
Diplomacy fail
The rebels have a few seasoned officers but the rest are just regular people with maybe a day's worth of training. If special forces can't infiltrate that then what good are they.
-
What are you playing now?
Ok so what the hell is BFBC2. First part must be 'Battlefield'. Walsh was right, all these constant abbreviations are a pain in the ass.
-
Dragon Age 2
They should have spent more money on promotion instead of showing people what a load of crap they are actually selling.
-
Dragon Age 2
Me as well, so that is out for DA2 ?
-
Is... *nothing* sacred?
Yes, he's got just enough range of emotion to play a robot. If we are assuming Dekkard is/was one that is.

STEAM!
Vegas/Vegas 2 isn't coop at all, at least not from what I remember.
-
STEAM!
It's your average hide behind cover shooter, not terrible.
