I'm afraid that you will not find sane answers in this thread. For most people in here things are painfully black and white, though it does help to illustrate why things are as they are in the world today.

Who the **** wanted minimal suspension of disbelief? Baldur's Gate was high fantasy, this should be high fantasy too. Also death is funny place to draw the line for suspension of disbelief in this game. I use the term "degenerate gameplay" for the same thing Josh used it in the IE games. This whole cluster**** of a mess originated from Josh's view on the degenerate gameplay in the IE games. I have yet to see one system in PoE, that was made to cure degenerative gameplay in the IE games, work.

I found the save files easy to edit with wordpad. I think I will make all my characters have 10 charisma, and I'll boost that toaster repair skill to 10. The rest I'll leave as is. Level 50 seems to be the cap and you can get up to 5 extra attribute points through level up. Still haven't started going through the game.

I don't follow, how does that change anything. Maiming exists and sleeping heals it.

Finally going to get a good night of sleep, if my household decides to not make noise at the crack of dawn in front of my room.

I edited my post to clarify. That is your choice, but the game doesn't stop us from going back and healing. Also you can go to town just to heal and buy camping supplies, there doesn't need to be any other reason. This mode just cuts out the degenerative gameplay of going back to town whenever you want to heal.

So? Artificial difficulty is not something I'm overly interested in. Besides you can get the same effect of unlimited healing just by going back to town, so if eliminating that makes the game easier, then sign me up.

No it's not, when you drop you get maimed. If you don't know what maimed means google it.

But wait, sleeping will heal a broken arm a severed hand or some such bull crap? Yeah I don't buy it at all. Lore has nothing to do with it.

No one can give you a reason to continue, that is something that you have to find for yourself. Though that sometimes means that you have to get off your ass and start looking. I mean if things really are that bad then change something, it's as simple as that. If you don't like your college then drop it, if your friends aren't there then find new ones, if you are fat then eat less or work out. No one else can live your life for you and everyone has their own problems, you just have to learn to deal with yours.

Yeah if that fix works for you then just leave it as is. On mine the screws were under the batteries so it was pretty easy to open it and put it back together.

@Calax Best advice I can give you is that we will all die in the end, might as well see what life has to offer. As long as you are healthy, nothing is set, you can always change. If you lack motivation to change, try small steps. Things change, they always do. They will not always change for the better, but sometimes they will, you just have to wait for those days and savor them.

Open the mouse, press down on the switch with a needle and put some wd40 in it, then click like crazy after that. Repeat a few times and see if it helps. My mouse is 5-6 years old and still going, thanks to that trick.

LoL, how is that "would get squashed no doubt". As you may or may not realize they didn't even get to play against Spain, they played against Serbia in the finals. My opinion was wrong as soon as Spain lost against France. Also congratulation to America for tying the World Cup gold medals number with us.

Congratulation to the USA, well deserved victory. Also congrats to our boys, you did more then anyone expected and silver is a great win for us. Glad that we are again on the upswing in basketball and I'm sure that gold will come again soon.
