My dogs does a cartoon run over the hardwood whenever he gets off the carpet, which is funny to watch, but it ain't good for his joints and hips.- What You've Done Today - As the World Turns
And to slip and break your neck. I like a good mix of carpets and hardwood.- What You've Done Today - As the World Turns
This looks like a bastard child of a BMW and a Datsun. It's awesome!- What You've Done Today - As the World Turns
I always liked Volvos philosophy of put everything on an engine... Turbocharge it, supercharge it, put an electric motor on it, the only thing they are missing is a hole in the floor for the Fred Flintstone 2 feet power assist. 😄 Do you watch any youtube content on fixing cars?- What You've Done Today - As the World Turns
I think for the 2 post lifts the more high end ones are 5k euros, but you can get a good lift for 2-2.5k euros. Provided you have the minimal thickness and quality of concrete to bolt it to, otherwise you would need to go for a 4 post lift. As for height limits quickjacks are very popular now, but that means working on your back... You can also go old school and dig a service trench, that is what they do in my neighborhood, they buy 2 garages side by side, dig service trenches and open up shop. The funny thing is the 2 guys in my vicinity who did that came as highly recommended mechanics.- What You've Done Today - As the World Turns
Some manufactures give out medals if your car gets to 500k and 1m. The sad thing is that a lift isn't that expensive, but you still need somewhere to put it. Maybe I should have gotten a house, but good locations are prohibitively expensive and I wouldn't really want to move out of the city.- What You've Done Today - As the World Turns
Do you do work on it yourself? I always wanted to get a beater and fix it up, but as I live in the city kind of hard to get a space to do that. Maybe one day I'll get a garage and try my hand at it...- What You've Done Today - As the World Turns
What car is it?- The All Things Political Thread (The World and US Reunited)
One of the longest running "presidents/prime ministers" in Europe Milo Djukanovic (of Montenegro) is getting the curtains closed on him. His political party lost the elections last year and the second largest city in Montenegro, Niksic, just had an election which his party also lost. Slowly he is losing his footing, but I guess it remains to be seen if by the next presidential election the Serbian parties can get behind a single candidate. If it happens I wonder how far the changes would go, I think it likely they would denounce Kosovo, but I wonder if they would leave NATO.- randoM vidEo gAme News
So the marketing has already started for the next Obsidian Fallout game. edit: Hope things work out for them and they get a crack at the Dishonored setting.- The What Are You Reading thread (now with a simpler name)
Need to get around to reading that.- The All Things Political Thread (The World and US Reunited)
So you support what's happening in Myanmar?- Weird, random, interesting - now with 100% less diacriticals
Doesn't work for me either, but it's all old stuff just joined together. Hopefully he will now be able to get them out quicker.- Weird, random, interesting - now with 100% less diacriticals

Come now, are you really trying to tell me that secret police and labor camps are symptoms of Socialism when the worlds beacon of democracy thrives on them. Socialism worked plenty well in Yugoslavia, arguably people had a better standard of living than most capitalist countries at the time. The main issue Yugoslavia had wasn't Socialism, it's that there was no longer a leader strong/smart enough to control the party and that the world no longer had a balance between Russia and US. After Russia fell the west had no reason to leave a third world power remaining in Europe.- What Are You Playing Now: The meaning of life
I was more than half way through the game on the previous patch.- randoM vidEo gAme News
I guess the biggest question now is, can you overclock it?- What Are You Playing Now: The meaning of life
Finished Breathedge. The game is over so over the top, in a good way, and likes to poke fun at it self. I recommend it very much to anyone who like Subnautica style games and doesn't mind the in your face humor.- randoM vidEo gAme News
Breathedge 1.0 just released, for anyone interested. It's like Subnautica in space but without the bugs and good story.- What You've Done Today - As the World Turns
Is that for a newly built building or an old building?- What Are You Playing Now: The meaning of life
Pretty "easy" to check in the event viewer why the PC reboted. You just need to make sense of the error code, but usually google provides.- General movie thread!!!!
Rewatched Stardust. Just as good as I remember it being, in that fairy tale sappy kind of way. Plus I forgot how good the end credit song was. edit: Curse my weeb self, fairy tale not fairy tail. Didn't even read that crap...- Military Thread: Humanity Hanging from a Cross of Iron
This was a story from a long time ago (I heard it almost 20 years ago) that went something like "The US put a ton of money in to a laser defense system and the Russians defeated it by simply spinning the missile in the air to stop the laser from being able to focus on a single point". I was unable to find it on the internet, project Excalibur comes close though it's not lasers but x-rays.- Military Thread: Humanity Hanging from a Cross of Iron
From what I remember the last laser anti missile defense attempt was defeated by simply spinning the warhead to avoid giving a static spot to heat up. - What You've Done Today - As the World Turns
