21something What do you think is going to happen to a country if hundreds of thousands of complete strangers who won't be contributing to the country anytime soon and only cost tons of money literally invade it? A country that is already severely plagued with inflation, ever increasing unemployment -which is already blowing the record from post-WWII out of the water-, a country whose health care system is breaking down as we speak, a country that is experiencing super high crime rates with a police force thats is absolutely incapable of dealing with it all? Oh, and I forgot to mention, a country where all the big companies pack their gear and leave because they can no longer afford their business due to the extreme wages they have to pay? Do I really have to explain it all to you or can think for yourself here for a second? You know, once the civil unrests start, the health care system no longer exists and the economy further dwindles your refugees won't feel so happy anymore. Thats what happens if you load a boat beyond its capacity.

If all people would think like that there would be no progress in anything because all the resources and energy would be spent to help the poor. All the time. And that mindset would create even more people in need because why should I be doing anything to improve my life if other people do that for me? Leading humanity to lethargy and stagnation, that is wrong. I believe in a more balanced sustainable welfare program. And please explain that picture to me, have you made your donations and sacrifices yet? Have you sacrificed your welfare, living standards and health care to help the people in dire need? - Because that is what it comes down to in my country right now, and I'd rather not see my country becoming a terrorism-infested third world country that is dealing with the problems other careless nations created.

Selfish and wrong? Yeah, its so selfish to protect ones country, living standards, health care system and security. Lets give it all up for the sake of humanity. If thats what you believe then its your duty to give up all the luxury, the stuff you don't really need and sacrifice medical care to help the refugees. To hell with your living standards, help them. You can start right now!

I think I need to clarify something here, many of the refugees are NOT Syrian, I have spoken with several people who are very involved in the current dealings with the refuge crisis and they said only half of the refugees are actually Syrian. The other half that consist of a mix of many different countries in the east have fled because due to economical reasons. A war against the government that emerges from the chaos of a prolonged period of severe civil unrest and terror attacks.

The average Austrian is dangerously pissed off, and this is one of the rare cases where I can speak for a lot of people. No one hates them refugees and nobody ''wants them to go back where they came from'' because everyone realizes that their home is bombed to hell which is a real tragedy, but everyone agrees on that one should not sacrifice himself to help others which is clearly the case now. As for a solution, I have none. But first and foremost the duty of the government is to protect its CITIZEN, and this is clearly not the case now. We need to close the borders right now and think of a solution, just letting everybody in is utter madness. Unfortunately the military and the police have been stripped from a lot of ressources due to the bad state of the economy, for some reason the government has decided its best to cut corners in those branches that provide security because they thought momma EU is going to help us if we need protection and armed forces. I doubt we even have near the manpower and equipment required to handle an effective border control. Heck, our police forces are so occupied with the futile attempt to protect the borders they can no longer fight regular crime. And of course our medical care system is already on its knees, it certainly won't survive this. Now speaking for myself, I think the foundation for war is being built, civil unrest, a torn society, religious clashes, a dwindling economy, a government that does the exact opposite of what people want all the time and the creation of a sub-culture inside our own that is very different and very unwilling to integrate and learn our ways. Nothing is missing, its like from a book.

A popular newspaper in my country supposedly got their hands on an official document signed by all of the various police branches and sent to the ministry of the interior, saying they can no longer guarantee internal security of the country due to complete chaos created by incoming waves of refugees and the crime spree that is following. The rest of the ''report'' looks pretty worrying as well. Of course, one has to doubt what newspapers print but it would not surprise me at all if it was true. Well, sh!t gets real now.

Sounds like your achilles tendons are too short. Had that when I was a teenager, and I too walked on my toes for a while until my feet started to hurt really bad. The best way to correct that problem is standing on stairs with your toes and slowly lowering yourself, repeatedly. You can add weights once you feel comfortable. Weight lifting does that too, no way you could deadlift any weight while standing on your toes. In any case, walking like that will lead to severe problems down the road, you'll get the same issues many women have after years of wearing high heels all the time - Arthritis in your toes and forefoot until you cant walk anymore and have to eat painkillers like cereals.-

People who say physical strength is useless nowadays should be spanked with a stinky fish. Relocated a tree, about 3 meters tall, but deep roots. I failed to use my shovel because the roots were freaking everywhere and stones prevented me from getting in. Digging it out without killing it seemed impossible. Solution? Lift. I grabbed the tree on its base, feet a little more than shoulder width apart, dead lift stance, took a deep breath, pre-flexed my abs and back and pulled. Felt exactely like a 250kg / 550lbs deadlift, after a couple of seconds with a satisfying ''rrrrrriiiip'' I pulled it out, with all the stones and dirt still on it, none of the major roots were damaged. Woot!
