  1. Accidental trailing space? I simply pasted BETAPASSWORD into the text field, pressed Check Code, it told me the code was activate and then I selected the Beta.
  2. Worked fine for me, I did it only 20 minutes ago.
  3. Nice, give I haven't really played yet I might as well jump into the beta with both feet No saves to mess up.
  4. I am presuming the patch will go live at the same time. I suspect they go hand in hand. Sadly this and SR: Hong Kong are coming out while I'm on Holiday, so no playing for me till the 30th
  5. Sad and unexpected news, that said I do want him to complete his PoE novella.
  6. Unfortunately, the documentary was already running a bit long. There was so much to try to get across in a short amount of time. Maybe some day we can do an extended cut with additional footage. That would be cool. Thanks for the answer, I can well imagine that there was a lot of footage to cull through and pull together for a narrative. My fingers are crossed that you'll return to it one day, maybe as work begins / through the work on the expansion. (Looking at the expansion you'se had committed to during the KS, how you define what the story for it will be, what you decide you can do for it over the proposed sequel and so on)
  7. Just to repeat what I said on the KS Update: Just finished the documentary. I really enjoyed it, it was great to see some of your processes and thoughts throughout. I wish it was maybe 30-45 minutes longer, taking a look at more of the issues you had nearing release / after release. Maybe a bit of a post mortem of the game following its release, what _you_ felt was good & bad. Regardless I think it was worth the wait, and 85 minutes well spent.
  8. Give the key to the Geek and Sundry Twitch channel, to give away during the next episode of Critical Role?
  9. Darren, don't let them get you down. You'se have created a really fun game and as you say RPGs are notoriously complicated which makes it hard to test all the possible combinations each and every single time. Every company releasing an RPg tends to release a lot of patches be it yourselves, Bioware of old, Larian and so on. Take your time and don't burn yourselves out.
  10. Yes I have the issue with words, usually the first word or couple of words. I've had it with Heodan and the female fighter companion you have at the start. (Cl ... I've forgotten what her name is). I've also had the odd sentence not spoken at all in the middle of a generally spoken conversation. I'm up to the end of the initial starter dungeon. I'm running OS X 10.10.2, I haven't tested yet if its the same on Win 7.
  11. I wish you had resisted, its certainly confusing to someone that hasn't been following the forums religiously. I came to redeem my key this morning and was thrown that I was getting the Champion edition when my "Digital Fun Pack" had more content in it than that, plus I had the expansion and strategy guide as add-ons.
  12. Don't know yet, both have their pluses and minuses Steam + Easy patching + time tracking - game locked to Steam/Valve, so game lost if I mess up somehow and get my account banned - Extra client to have always running GOG + DRM free + great ideals - patching is a pain in the ass - slower to get patches out as they have to go through some process or other first I tend to think of new stuff on Steam, old stuff on GOG. Its been an easy choice on a couple of Kickstart projects as I've had two keys, so I've redeemed one on each service (Wasteland 2, Tex Murphy Tesla, and one or two others)
  13. I'd settle for justing having the manual early, so I've read it before the game arrived and I can't start planning characters
  14. Looking forward to it. Shame my parent in laws will be here at the time, but I'll find a way to play Good luck for those last two months, don't crunch!
  15. I'm mixed about it, I'd like to be involved but at $77 I've put enough money in for now.
  16. And then be over in the blink of an eye. To be fair them saying it comes out today was unlikely to ever mean anything other than this afternoon US time
  17. I understand why they wouldn't but it's a shame that they haven't changed their mind like Larian and decide to offer everyone beta access
  18. Cheers for that MasterPrudent. Fingers crossed then, my worry was/is my 256mb NVidia 9400M
  19. I have the same question, given it looks see IE based I'd have hope it played okay but with fancier graphical bells and whistles I expect to have trouble. My specs 13" mid 2009 MacBook Pro Windows 7 Bootcamp 8GB Ram 2.53Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 512GB SSD NVidia 9400M 256mb Vram (1280x800 res) The video card/vram is a killer for pretty much anything modern. For instance something like The Witcher runs in the region of 1-2 FPS at the lowest detail settings. I played Dragon Age: Origins for roughly 60 hours at 8-10fps, I'm currently 45 hours into Divinity Original Sin in the same sort FPS region (5-10). My hope is to update my computer this year / early next year, but it keeps getting delayed.
  20. Been watching a couple of the E3 demo videos, its looking good, way more IE than I had expected/hoped it would. Can't wait to play it though I realised that my level doesn't actually include the beta. Curses. (That said my nose is pretty deeply buried into Divinity: Original Sin at the moment ) I'm mostly just curious at the moment to see what the performance will be like on my comp as its getting long in the tooth, at least GFX wise. (Playing D:OS at 5-10 FPS @ 1280x800 on lowest detail levels)
  21. I don't have my KS badge but I do have a completed order on (Confirmed Dec 12 2013)
  22. I'm kinda pleased at the news, well see how it plays out I guess. As long as Obsidian remains in charge and Paradox won't be forcing it out the door sooner than it should to meet store commitments
  23. doa took 6 years I was going to say myself that DOA was in the mix for a long time, the game was first announced in e3 2004 and must have been gestating for a bit before that.
  24. No, the only Kickstarter I've done that on so far is with Tex Murphy. Meant to go to the level which got the games off GOG.
  25. I went with $50 tier, + $20 for Expansion (though part of me thinks I'm nuts for doing that, should have waited till I see if I actually like PE first) and + $7 for the strategy guide (again slightly nuts given how good the internet is as a resource for games).
