  1. Season 5 was the high point of the show. Get ready for a lot of James Darren singing from now on.
  2. Speaking of braised meat... ^^
  3. As far as I know that was a byproduct of Aspyr's Android port.
  4. I use STD mainly because I'm a manchild and a neckbeard. But as Sikso said so well In The Pale Moonlight: I can live with it.
  5. Had blood drawn for a full workup. Figured now that I'm in my mid 30ies I better start o make use of our commie health care.
  6. I just tried the GOG version on Windows 10 with a GTX 970. Worked without a hitch. Saw Taris and quit though, so that's one issue that's not ever going away...
  7. KOTOR's PC version was always pretty broken and the issues got worse over time. It's possible to get it running when installing from the original discs but it often requires the use of third party patches and even then usually ends in the player having to turn off the cutscenes and certain dialogues skipping right to the end. In my experience the best bet to get a decent out of the box experience is to go with the GOG version.
  8. Yup, their breakthrough is pretty amazing and awesome. I wonder if all the people in the world who are Israel-haters and/or are antisemetic will stand by their 'principles' and disavow the cure for themselves. Nah. The joos already have a cure for cancer and are killing everyone else with chemotherapy and implanted kill switches.
  9. Yeah. I've seen a lot of people say they think S2 is a big improvement but to me both have been pretty much run of the mill Voyager/ TNG S1 level, which isn't great.
  10. Watched STD S02E02. Well that turned back to being disappointing very quickly.
  11. Here's the time stamp for Hell March, which I know is what we all want to hear.
  12. Cuz they liek, own Obz.
  13. Be sure to find the Path of Pain. It's... yeah, behind a breakable wall. Heh.
  14. Dream Evil has achieved quite a feat: They've out-ridiculoused (is that even a word? ) Manowar.
  15. I can't take them seriously, they made Bard's Tale win "best remake" award. What the hell is Kenshi doing there :D The Bard's Tale remake is easily the best remake/remaster I've ever played and the best game in InXile's entire catalogue. Best joke I've heard all week. A ton of glitches, completely broken pathing, crashes that corrupt save files, terrible optimalization, combat that is basically rocket tag and very easy to exploit... do I need to go on? The game is 6/10 on Steam atm and that's pretty generous for this piece of crap. You do know that the The Bard's Tale Trilogy is not The Bard's Tale IV, right?
  16. Oh you guys, he's just gone gray. Look at him, he doesn't look that old.
  17. Nah, no Frenchies in my family that I know of. I had relatives in the French Foreign Legion but I doubt that counts. Properly boiled beef is divine. Sadly that usually means doing it yourself, otherwise you're all too often getting a slab of grey stuff that vaguely resembles food and tastes like arse.
  18. ME:A is easily worth the money for the combat and exploration. The rest of the game is... not up to par, but not nearly as bad as the initial reactions made it out to be. Even if everyone's face is a little tired.
  19. Boiled beef with vegetables and some marrow from the bones spread on bread as well as a nice soup with Leberknödel. And yeah, it tastes a lot better than it sounds.
  20. I can't take them seriously, they made Bard's Tale win "best remake" award. What the hell is Kenshi doing there :D The Bard's Tale remake was actually really well done, even with making the 99 Barbarians fight a one time event.
  21. You assume correctly. The next version is one of the most enjoyable boss fights I've had in any Metroidvania (or side-scroller in general).
  22. Heh, I just read the Outer Worlds forum description for the first time. Little things like these make this place so enjoyable.
  23. Ignoring the unfixable issues Discovery has that really was an entertaining episode. Michael is also no longer an unsufferable arsehole, which helped immensely. It does have an action sequence on Star Trek 2009 level of ridiculousness, but that's par for the course I guess.
  24. In my experience that isn't true. Certain charm combinations can utterily trivialize bosses to the point of them being a pushover, e.g. Shaman Stone and Spell Twister combined with Stalwart Shell will allow you to kill Troupe Master Grimm with Howling Wraiths while he's shooting fireballs - just tank the hits and blast away. There's no reason not to tailor charms to the boss you're fighting or struggling with. At least not unless you're either doing a speed run or can't, like in the Pantheons.
