  1. Heh, cool video but what I meant by my post was I would like my character to be approximately as powerful as you were at the end of Baldurs Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal. I cant remember exactly but I think that was around level 20-22 under DnD 2.5E rules. So basicly something between super-hero and demi-god ... ok ... i like this idea but only if we will fight other demigods ... dragons on that level if i remember where easy.... (or mayby something mixed me up with neverwinter nights ... but i don't remember witch d&d rules was then)

  4. And i want you guys ask one thing in poll you see "quest" ... haw do you define scary quest .. ? As a side quest that has nothing to do with a storyline or storylife itself ? i think that PE MUST HAVE mature content in story line i don't want secodn NWN2 official campain ..... Even NWN official campain was more mature ... mayby not good but at least it had atmosphere ...

I personaly i don't know what that movie had to do with "Scary themes, horror in eternity". But for the movie and your opinion about that ... proves that someone is bad will always be present in games ... even proving it by "kicking babies" can be explaind properly for example character is sadist or natzi (thinking that his race is the best and any other are pigs) even history know that type of characters (i sudgest you to read history of 2 world war in polish, russian front and situation of jews) BUT We don't know haw they handeld that type of character in this game we only se a motiv of "Die pig !!" moment ... it coud be handeld in pokemon kiddy type of way "I'am bad becouse i say so" or he can be deep character with multi-motivations that makes him doing this type of things "mayby his crazy etc". For exaple allmost all low life bandits had almost non character desine the only thing in game desine is some event that makes them "Bad" in your opinion "slaying peasants etc" and you can't say that isint childish .... to the topic i can't agree with AGX-17 You are saying "Im not affraid" and that is OK everybody is diffrent mayby your just a machine that don't have any emotions wile playing games but most of the players DO and its not about making Eternity full survival horror like Amnesia, it's about adding disturbing, scary thames not about making you piss yourself when something JUMPS on you....   6. I liked IWD series. BUT in my opinion where it goes dawn to ROLE PLAYING part fight is just another way tu bulid atmosphere .... I ike fighting but i must say that i don't wanna see fights the way was presendet in Diablo 3 where you do nothing more then fight, or fight is the reason of this game .... If i want to fight in the game i will but in my opinion first atmosphere, roleplaying part, and seckond fighting and lootspawning ....
  7. This not going to happend. This is why PS:T was not such big 'comercial' success as other more fighting oriented RPGs. It was great in sense of atmosphere an dialogues (this is what makes good roleplay) but missed more complex combat system (read gameplay) for good RPG you need all these elements balanced (Role Playing Game(play)) I don't mean that fight is not important part, i meant that storyline, gameworld shoud be main par for eternity only backed by fights ... if you like fight il sudest Diablo 3 hack and slash ...
  8. I'am 100% or horror in eternity. But we have some big problem here. Player and his party are strong and 50% of the game but at the and they are killing dragons in few hits. In survival horrors player is week and only tthing that he survives is luck, smart and proper use of his surraundings. I don't want PE to become some lootgathering, restspawning, multikiller-slasher. I want game that i feel powerfull but also know that there is always something that can easly kill me, my party if i don't have luck, don't use proper resorses or simply don't think in fight just clicking on board. SKYRIM for exaple has hugde problem with that, if you are on 24 lvl (pure mage or fighter) you simply kill almost everything somethimes without even thinking about it i don't want that. I want to see haw DEVS are gonna handle power levels in game. Becouse i want to se a big diffrence beetween farmer with 1 lvl and fighter on 24 lv but i don't want to see that a simple fighter withaout thinking can kill demon or dragon. Fights with high lvl enemys like dragon shoud be not only hard, they need to have atmosphere that this dragon is not desined to be killed but to putt player to thinking "Oh. crap haw im gonna survive this ?" And one thing else UNDEAD .... im really bored is i se 400 zombies an i can kill them in 1 hit... this isint a fight.... this kind of fiths is ego-masturbation in my opinon ... I enjoed only fighting lichs and vamires from NWN series .. but only that they where harder to kill ... I want this Atmosphere > Fight in eternity
  9. Tru Wheni was playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas (in night) even some dog cound scare when jump on me suddenly. And it was nt becouse of first person becouse i was plaing in 3 person over shoulders. ps. and what about your favorite monsters ? I personaly like scary monsters (in grotesque way not bloody gore) From Fallout Nv for exaple tell me that guy is don't scary in some way it's just bizzare or this guy He was a bit scary but one of the reason most players when see them run it's becouse 1-3 hits and your dead.... and mayby for that only make me scary somethimes (expecionaly when i see him on 1-7 lvl)
  10. Resident evil 1,2,3 was even in some way isometric (not first person) and was one of most scaryest series .... i don't play silent hill series but from screenschoots i remember simillar setting. Resident Evil Zero was even about party (two members) game and also worked good.

  14. I don't find that convincing. In an FPS you're in the thick of things, and with help from things like surround sound you can create some nice effects. Plus you're alone/ feeling seperate from others. A party based game with an isometric view? Not a chance. Atmospheric writing is possible, even a gasp of surprise, but chills? No way. Even sound and atmospheric writhing can do a trick. If the terrain is in fog and you don't see your enemys until last momemt then even in isomertic can do this. Residen Evil series also have some isometric but close to the player.

I see but as i sad isometric is not the foult the low graphical lewel is and we know that PE will have way more better graphic then Gorky 17 And thats why PE will never be fully survival-horror. Even playing as typpical adventchurer (?) that fight dragons, orcs, undead etc it at lest can have horror level that explorind cave with undead is not only lootgathering experience but mainly deep emotional experience .... going intu undead crypt or cave filled with drows shoud at least a little scary not a happie loot gathering moment.

How horrified did you feel when watching Birds from Hitch****? Imagine if the birds attacked a party of ultra-badass dragon slayers. Yes, exactly that horrifying. If you lie EGO strocking then i sudgest you to play pokemon game. Even Dragon-slayers can be afraid of something and even if they arent they don't start game from DRAGON-slayer level.... and even dragon fight can be scary if you want to be scary..... if dragons head look like this And not like this Then even dragon can be scary.
  17. Of course the best examples of SCARY moments are grom 100% first person in 3d but not becouse it's not posible in isometric. It's becouse horrorgames quickly conversed intu 3d schooters. The first horror games was games that your only wepon was stick, flashlight and gasoline not dynamite, shootguns. Somethimes you even don't have any wepon and theres where funny part started. Mayby not to much but in gorky it's not isometric foult but graphical level. It was wery old game with low graphical details if you put isometric intu good graphics then it can be more scary then even from first perspectiv but it's harder to input.

Like above i want Eternity to be scary game, i also whoud like to se some survival horror elements, horible secrets, unsolved riddles and become Eternity more mature (not neseserly in drug,sex,rape motives). I also think that quests and unwinible fight are good idea but i want to now you opinion
  21. They are not from anime they are grom game. Besides two form handing godlike is in my opinion better then always overpowerd form. Why ? Haw human soul can be mixed with angel/demon/god soul ? This is the same mix like mixing ant with elefant. Whe only posible way in my opinion is not putting mix between ant and elefant and calling it antefant but putting it in two diffrent forms weeker (ant) and stronger (elefant) just like werewolf

  23. No dogs. It's stuid to wath dog fighting a dragon. This is good idea for GTA games not Fantasy games.
