Project Eternity to use a "Dispositions" morality system similar to Torment: Tides of Numenera's Tides
Yes, like if your reputation got too good the evil members would grouse and vice versa if you got too evil of a reputation. Im curious how this system will play out. I see a lot of negative post about systems that use for example a radial wheel. When you pick an answer but then the game delivers it in a way you didn't intend. This system just seems to shift the "whoopsy-daisy" to the NPC. Now you can clearly see what you mean to say but you will have no idea how the NPC will interpret it. You may mean your Clever reply to be witty but they take it as sarcastic and you won't know that just happened.

So the non-expert responses will be flagged (Clever, Benevolent, Aggressive, etc...) but how do we know how the NPC is interpreting it (sarcastic, charitable, hot-headed, etc...)?

Space Fans: X Rebirth has a Release Date!
I want to like it but the first person perspective gives me pause. It would probably give me vertigo.

The Adventurer's Hall
You want to create a mod to prevent you from using hirelings instead of simply choosing not to use the Adventurers Hall? Am I understanding that correctly?

So my "well liked" Paladin is going to bicker with my "cruel" Fighter? Probably have to send them to the rest spot to cool off.

Careful my save scumming brother, enemies abound.

I don't follow how it becomes less time consuming. What every other IE game offered was the ability to perform those actions where you were (rest anywhere) vs. now having to schlep to specific locations to perform the same action. Can you clarify your stance? What about PE makes any of the new mechanics less tedious?

Great, now nobody will work on the maiming mod. Honestly though, its a non-issue for me. I reload if even one party member dies and will do the same regarding maiming. I do think its kind of weird that so many mechanics are tied to the dedicated rest spots (healing, maim removal, ability / spell reset, buffing) but thank god for the almighty reload.

Can I turn off maiming too?

Wait, its death OR maiming, not both? Either way Im going to reload but that's an interesting approach.

In another example of "Im getting too old for this s%#t", I have a ferocious hangover. My buddy and his wife stopped by last night and one fifth of tequila, two fifth of rum chata, a bottle of wine, a case of beer, and one broken cell phone later (my wifes), here I am. Already thrown up twice this morning.

Save scumming
Agreed. In SRR case it was due to running out of money but it negatively impacted the game for me. Im pretty sure Sawyer said PE offers saving whenever you want but when compared to all the other disincentive mechanics I still hold my breath.

Save scumming
Shadowrun Returns uses a checkpoint save system if you haven't tried it yet.
