  1. Your best fit is... Devout and Diversealong with 9% of the public.
  2. *looks at keyboard* Yep, O is right next to 0. The high cost of medical care in the US exists regardless of what caused the injury. Roll your car into a ditch and youre still going to get hit in the pocket. The entire system needs to be torn down and rebuilt but that's not going to happen.
  3. Im not sure what can be done about your situation but you can send an email to: support@obsidian.net Be sure to include your PFID.
  4. New Gene-Editing 'Pencil' Erases Disease-Causing Errors.
  5. 2E / 2.5E for me. The good ole days when Strength meant, well, strength and halfling/gnomes couldnt wield weapons that are two sizes larger. *wipes tear from eye*
  6. "Are there any monuments to slaves?" "Yeah, heres one." "Not big enough."
  7. I see you've specifically narrowed the possible results to the 68.34 square miles that comprises "Washington" (winkwink) but heres a slave memorial at Mt. Vernon.
  8. RIP Fats Domino.
  9. Einstein's theory of happiness sells for $1.3M at auction.
  10. If only we had some tool to look stuff up: Puerto Rico aid is trapped in thousands of shipping containers.
  11. Ok, I used the wrong word. Mea culpa. Well I happen to like you as a person so I want to express my points one last time: 1) I have no problem with mental illnesses. You have an MRI with a squirrely looking piece of brain then you are absolutely brain damaged and should receive special considerations and help. Hell, Ill even throw in a handicapped parking tag so you always get a bitchin parking spot. 2) A person has experienced a tragic occurrence and is emotionally scarred for life. I completely understand that this person has significant challenges in life, but no physical brain damage. Its these cases that, imo, are that persons cross to bear and should not become the responsibility of society to place TRIGGER warnings of every conceivable thing that could TRIGGER someone. 3) "They wouldn't have to put every conceivable TRIGGER". Why not? Why is one persons issues more important than another's? Do we literally create a scroll that falls out and rolls across the floor to ensure we've covered everything?
  12. I am 100% sure you can infer the meaning of my post. Id like a TRIGGER monkey. Not a rip-your-face-off chimp, one of those cool little ones like organ grinders used to use. But then Id have to teach it to provide unwavering 100% accuracy, and honestly, thats more responsibility than any monkey should have.
  13. *Yakety Sax plays in background* 1) 100% of books don't have a prologue, ha HA! 2) And even if it does, it may not include 100% of all possible TRIGGER warnings! 3) And even if it does, 100% of people will not use the tools given to them! We have created an impenetrable Kobayashi Maru!

  15. Thats super awesome that you dont have an issue with it. But the point of my post was to explain the KP how a person would know "what kind of book he is reading".
  16. Keep trying....and Ill even give you a hint. GD is talking about books....and what do books have......? Dont click this spoiler until you have it.... And no, I didn't even make that up.
  17. Youre going to have to do some problem solving on your own to figure out my post.
  18. How? Popular as Fields of Fire and Shakespeare may be, people aren't born with a knowledge of the works before reaing them or getting spoiled. Assuming someone didn't spoil them on the plot, they would still be going in relatively blind reading it for the first time and could very well get their PTSD TRIGGERED by something they weren't expecting. I think the SJWs are stupid and there is a limit to warnings that can be communicated, but we shouldn't let a fringe group of tumblrites determine policy towards mental illness because being contrarian will TRIGGER liberal sjw betacucks. Psst, its called a prologue. Assuming they don't need help for that part too. I also just felt like typing "betacucks" because it gives me the lol's.
  19. I got one hand in my pocket, the other one clickin the sign."
  20. Shadenfreude = reveling in others misfortune? Nope, not my bag. Is there a "enfreude" that goes with "reveling in the sweet sweet irony"?
  21. And it was just used again in an attempted wicked sick burn. HeeHaw HeeHaw. I suppose its a step up from completely fabricated and misattributed conversations, so we have that going for us. And idk, Putin kind of makes me smile. Now he doesn't rule by "western" ideals but he sure can rile the hell out of the rest of the world without breaking a sweat.
  22. *groan* If I had a dime every time someone busted out the "hes trolling" shtick....Id have like half a mason jar full of dimes. I haven't attacked anyone here (or off screen) and just because some choose to apply their own interpretations, that don't make it true. But as usual, the astute wisdom of Amentep & 213374U see to the questions I'm asking. Where is the line? Why is your pain more valid than 's pain?
  23. Huh? The difference is you guys milling about nodding to each other how TRIGGERS should totally be on everything. But I do gotta give props to the moving goal posts of those who try to equate it with nutritional labels and warning signs. *nodnodnod* But I guess we cant really quantify anything. Someone is simply TRIGGERED when they tell you theyre TRIGGERED! And the world better deal with it. So where were we? Oh yeah, that Trump, what a dummi!
  24. Who are we to decide which mental trauma is worthy and which is not? Why just yesterday Harry Styles got groped just like I was groped. What if I cant go to his concerts anymore? Did you ever think of that? BTW, every time one of you turns around and uses TRIGGERED as an insult, an irony meter explodes somewhere. Probably also mentally scars someone.
