Hmm, Im suspicious that the stars lined up in that exact position ~4000 years ago when it was built. But maybe thats not long enough for a big drift in position? They must have done it for some reason!

I see this as no different than trigger warnings, which I believe most posters here have echoed deemed as necessary in todays scary world. Hell, my great grandchildren will probably be the minorities so maybe its a good idea that we get ahead of this. Im just kidding. Weve become soft and weak and China will give us five across the eyes in due time. I wonder if there is a single "safe space" anywhere in the entire country.

Mmm, Waffle House. Ill bet that the ~3.3M population of PR could have stood hand-in-hand and formed a human chain to that water supply. EDIT: By god, I think Ive solved the problem! Even though the airport was "inaccessible" (even by pickup truck), and obviously the port was also "inaccessible" (even by pickup truck), FEMA could have "done something more" via a flotilla from FL to PR. I picture it something like this:

The Political Thread - Machiavelli Edition
Internet: Lets have FEMA rebuild PR. PR: Nah man, we cant even scrounge up 10 dudes with pickup trucks to distribute this bottled water to our 35 x 100 mile island. Puerto Rico aid is trapped in thousands of shipping containers.

What are you playing right now?
Step 1, mod out those pesky parts where you have to do stuff. Seriously though, which version are you playing (1985 or 2004)?

Yeah, if only someone would have distributed the millions of bottles of water there may have been many less dehydrations and deaths. Ironically, since they staged it on a runway no planes could take off or land. j/j

The Political Thread - Machiavelli Edition
Just so I know where to focus my rage, are we: mad about wasted water? mad that the water was never distributed by the PR government? mad that Trump gave direct orders, under penalty of military intervention, that the water WILL NOT be given to any PR citizens? the water is covered in blue? Help a brother out here.
