What did you do today?
It depends. There are two options for collecting lottery winning; all at once or parceled out over 30 years. If you take the lump sum, you get ~70% before taxes. If you take the 30 year payout, you received the entire jackpot over the course of time and "only" pay normal taxes for the annual disbursement.

My avatar happens to be an actual .gif of me, so there will be no mistakes on that front. Unfortunately, I did not win the Mega Millions. Fortunately, nobody else did either. The jacpot is up to $888M as of today and my offer still stands if I hit on the next drawing.

Do you even need an ID to get into the US? I mean, really, illegal immigration by Europeans is a statistical outlier and can be safely ignored. I feel like I'm missing a joke, but did you think I was a European? Aww damn, yeah, I misread you post to say "Im moving to the states..." In that case you probably wouldn't need ID. IL has voted Democrat the last seven elections so I never bother with my individual vote.

What are you playing right now?
I think silver weapons work too, or are you talking about a different encounter?

wat? Both of our links clearly state that these laws affect the entire US. If you want to claim ignorance, especially of these two topics, then I have nothing else for you.

My bad. I occasionally, wrongly, assume that certain US things are common knowledge to US residents. I need to heed my own advice and assume nobody knows nothin' about nothin' until I spell it out. Its just exhausting is all and then I lose interest. Chalk it up to my many many personality flaws.

Yeah, there should be an exemption for the military. Luckily I was in the Navy and when were outside of US territorial waters then we just follow the rules of whatever country we were making a port call to. I have never been "carded" overseas.

It probably varies from state-to-state but here in IL, an ID costs $20 for adults, $10 for minors, and is free to the disabled. And its valid for 8 years. I suppose we can create another program for those adults that cant absorb the $2.50 annual average cost.

Im not sure about Amentep's state, but you cant do jack in IL without ID. You even need it for booze/smokes.

Huh, so if I bounce over to Gilroy and drop your name nobody will even check my ID? Yikes. Maybe Ill vote for the commies next election, in your name of course. /everythingisfine

You had better never move to GA with that mess. No doubt you can freely vote in CA? Does anyone even check anything there or everybody can just stroll up and vote?

I have a hard time complaining about voter rules being tighted / finally enforced. In my state, dead people still vote. I can commiserate with those affected right now but it seems like a simple matter to recitfy on ones personal records. Maybe just go with whatever is on the birth certificate? Sure, you can be Bob socially, but your dl says Robert. That kind of thing?

The article contains a picture of the guy and he's completely missing his nose and left eye. You can see right into the cavities. I mean, pity aside, when do the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few (one)?
