  1. Sounds like it comes from the OSC "just pay for it" school of thought. Lets see where this goes.
  2. Imprisonment and blacklisting are the only path foward.
  3. Actually, I believe the .223 is considered an "unhumane" round because it tumbles on impact, which creates a much larger wound channel.
  4. We should follow the Chinese example and just start building cities for nobody. It will keep us busy and they will eventually fill up.
  5. No mercy. And if they have already joined the workforce they should immediately be fired and blacklisted from their chosen profession for life. People wont learn a lesson unless we treat every molehill like a mountain.
  6. And some didnt even know their parents were pulling strings. College admissions scandal: What did the students know about 'the side door,' and what should happen next? But ignorance is no excuse and this much buttock hurt requires blood sacrifice. Someone has to make. them. pay.
  7. Students tied to U.S. college admissions scandal could face expulsion. Not far enough, NOT BY A COUNTRY MILE!1111 The parents should be imprisoned, and after they die, the kids should be forced to finish their sentences! Especially in light of the way that poor rowing team had to endure an 0-52 collegiate record. No doubt scaring them for life. Squee!
  8. New Zealand wants answers from Mark Zuckerberg over mosque attack video. "Squee squee! Ban all video!"
  9. Have you tried a finer grit? Higher number = finer. Generally speaking, I will use a heavier grit to knock off the big mass (years of paint layers) and then switch to a finer grit for the nooks and crannies. A sander with a pointy tip is also a godsend but you can make due with what you have. Baseboard is available in pretty inexpensive particle board so you don't have to spring for wood. Though, in doing these improvements are you kinda intending to rent-to-own? In that case you might not want to go cheap on the baseboards as youre going to be looking at them for the next 30 years.
  10. We lost power for a few hours sometime last year and I was never more bored in recent memory. The silence was deafening. And darkness is pitch black when you don't even have the light of a router or alarm clock. I couldn't even pew pew on my phone because I didn't know when power would come back on and I felt like I had to preserve my battery.
  11. But we just got to the predictable final act where they are left with no other option than to complain about moderating. My bad, Ill play nice.
  12. DNA match leads to arrest in 1999 Alabama slaying, rape case.
  13. Resorting to; "nener nener whatever you say bounces off me and sticks on you". Now Im a little saddened by your lack of imagination. No more callbacks to previous unrelated topics? No more referencing this topic in other topics? I guess you shot your shot.
  14. See theres the problem. Around 15% of the time you are a remotely interesting self aggrandizer, but the other 95% of the time you become hysterical and fully prolapse your bottom. The former is at least palatable, the latter just make me lol. [slow heavy metal music]
  15. That reminds me of the wax molds you can get at the zoo where you can look throught the clear plastic dome and watch the two presses come together. Can he make me a gorilla?
  16. Unfortunately, nothing will ever get done about the real problems. The world is full of people whose number one goal in life is to be progress stoppers. Tis sad. *black and white grainy film* a discarded plastic grocery bag twists in the wind of a dust devil
  17. You know whos the truly aggrieved in this situation? The school rowing team. Just imagine the looks of defeat that must have been etched across the rowers faces as they stared into the empty seats in the canoe, the oars flaccidly dragging in the bow wake, as they watch the other canoes disappear up the river. Perhaps we can turn this into a learning experience and discuss how this mirrors the downfall of the US, where less people have to carry the load for more. Were in the final days of Rome. I can see the hordes forming on the horizon. Fin.
  18. Im the same way. Anxiety building on the drive in, full on gripping the armrests of the dentist chair before they even say "open wide". But honestly it is totally painless and they are straight up wizards in their capabilities nowadays. Go on, git!
  19. I agree 100% that people will seize upon this opportunity to sue everyone and anything. We could have ruled the world! Its tragic. This made me wonder where people have to slum it and go to their plan B school when they dont get into Yale. Princeton! Oh the humanity.
  20. The man getting man-er discussions do nothing for me. I guess cutting line, while distasteful, doesnt effect me on the same level as it does others. And Im cool with that.
  21. Are CB's still a thing? Do you have one? If yes, yhats your handle?
  22. I view this as a fantastically more expensive version of getting in the back door of the club because you know (or paid) the bouncer, instead of waiting in line with the rest. Yes, it stinks for whoever was at the bottom of the list and got bumped. And the government is great at stacking charges, but it just doesn't make my ragemeter flicker. Especially if they actually graduated under their own merits, whatever the institutional flaws everyone has access to.
  23. I assumed they were mod teams but I could be wrong.
  24. Fermilab, international partners break ground on new state-of-the-art particle accelerator.
  25. So these kids didnt even have to pass the classes themselves?
