Where did I say "widespread"? Its true that anybody can vote here and nobody is allowed to check. Im a bit surprised that doesn't make you as sad and angry as paying to get your kid into university does. Oh well, can lead a burro to water....

I mean theres no discernable impact or way to measure the effectiveness of the Russian "influence". But it seems awesome for making braying sounds. I was hoping Hurlshots hard hitting evidence would be right next to donkey post #489t4985 which purports my celebration of a reporter getting murdered.

We talked about measuring something that nobody is measuring and also figured out how many votes were swayed by the evil Russians? Cool, hit me with the link I cant be bothered to sift through closed threads.

EXACTLY my point! The Russian thing was a nothingburger, with can cheese on top. And they cant even affect the HoR.

@Hurlshot: How do you know if nobody is checking anything? How do you quantify the effects of social media campaigns? Somehow its been decided that the former doesn't matter and the latter is wrecking the world? Im open to seeing any actual facts.

Im not saying it doesn't exist. It just seems like another loud outburst, complete with faux navel gazing about "the state of the union". Just like how anybody that can hop a fence can vote here. If its "your people" then its all good?

I think you guys use electricity instead of NG for your appliances, right? An electric water heater is super easy to change yourself and you can probably put several hundred dollars back in your pocket if you do so.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
Hee Haw says the donkey. This is what I was thinking too would be a good idea for US use. It can shoot down mortars! Or Davids Sling which is purported to be able to handle drones and cruise missiles.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
I appreciate your deep well of knowledge of military technology. What, if any, system does the US have for drones / cruise missiles?- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
Every conversation with you ends the same way. Its freaky. Whats the old saying..."Talk to long to a donkey, and the donkey talks back to you." ~ Nietzsche's brother, probably. Experience is valuable.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
At least you made it 2-3 post before soiling the thread so I can call that a win for everyone.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
The dain bramage is fo'real. Honestly, do you make it though any conversation, internet or real life, without going full maroon. "People cant wipe their own bottom without instruction and handholding, but in the matter of electing government officials they should be trusted". Ok man.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
I haven't seen legislation for any of the three things I mentioned. Do you have a link? Didn't you also just say the executive branch has limits because reasons, but now you say they don't? Or are you just talking about random executive agencies ala DoS and DoJ?- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
I dunno man. "The people" cant even be trusted to not eat laundry pods, have to be "protected from themselves" from all manner of vice and almost universally develop a pack mentality. But on electing government officials their "will" should be respected ad infinitum? Needs more checks and balances imo.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
I do worry about "brain drain", but on the other hand, we wouldnt wind up with 50 year cancerous tumors like the racist Strom Thurmond. I know hes an outlier so maybe 20 years is a nice middle ground as Shady suggests.- Politics: The Undiscovered Country
We need term limits. Badly. No term limits for Congress is moronic, imo.- Weirder, More random, More Interesting.

Why would we need Ukraine to dig up dirt for us? Maybe he thought they wouldn't snitch? Seems like there are many other apparatus that could have been used. Anywho, what time do we light our soiled undies on fire and throw them over the WH fence?- New Scientific Discoveries, Part Drei
