Politics XXXV (Life in the Vault is about to change)
And they have a global reach. smh. Whoever owned "the press" back in 1791 probably paid someone to get it added to the 1st amendment.

Ill give it a shot. Lets start with, imo, "religious texts" were only ever meant to be a basic blueprint for an orderly society. Dont kill, cheat, steal, bang the neighbors wife, etc. Then lets assume that ancient man didnt have any concept of microbes. But he is an observant creature and notices that poorly prepared pork and fowl results in buttworms (Trichinella spiralis). He doesnt know why, only that it happens with those animal groups. So now he codifies the "unclean" nature of those animals and instructs that they should not be eaten. Or maybe space Jesus told them directly to their faces. Dunno.- What you've done today, tomorrow and yesterday

Weeks two without finding powdered yeast in the store...my wife is getting twitchy. On the plus side we made some home made face masks out of bandana's and using hair bands as the hooks around the ears. But this was hella uncomfortable behind my ears so someone I know 3D printed me a contraption that goes behind your head (like a ballcap strap) and has hooks to connect the hair bands.- nfl 2020-2021
Patriots to trade Rob Gronkowski to Buccaneers.- How much sleep do you get and how do you feel?
I seem to be sleeping the same amount of time, just everything shifted a bit. I stay up later but I sleep in later.- nfl 2020-2021
It would be glorious if he somehow started drifting toward 17 and Dallas traded up a few spots to grab him. Rent Dak for the year while Tua sits and learns. It will never happen but I can day dream.- What you've done today, tomorrow and yesterday
Happy Birthday Calax!!!! I think this, and receiving kudos, is the driving motivation of most braggarts (not referring to you). Did it even happen if it wasnt posted about? But its not a binary thing. Do what you can, love and support those in your life like your family and friends...you dont have to go work the soup kitchen.- Pictures of your games, lucky #13
Things that only I wonder; do the hull numbers increment up with each ship that joins your fleet?- Politics XXXV (Life in the Vault is about to change)
I wish somebody would take PR off our hands! A 110 x 35 mile island comprised solely of qq-ers that cant find a port full of relief supplies, and costs the US at least 21B annually in Federal aid. Besides Guam, we could probably cut the rest loose. 🤔- Coronavirus: Continuing Vigilance

"Trump Administration" = FEMA? I guess if we squint hard. On the bright side, 55M is a drop in the piss bucket as far as government financial blunders and poor choices go.- Politics XXXV (Life in the Vault is about to change)
Seems like we're always the biggest contributor to these various international clubs. What is the dues based on, GDP or something?- Politics XXXV (Life in the Vault is about to change)

Gasoline is cheap as hell around these parts. It under $2 / gallon near me, and I just saw a blurb where its .99 / gallon in WI. I wish I had a huge tank I could fill up for the future.- Coronavirus: Continuing Vigilance
I forgot to look when I was shopping, but where does one go to buy those cloth face covers that hook around your ears? Do regular grocery stores sell them?- Coronavirus: Continuing Vigilance
Why would anyone return anything, it lasts indefinitely, are they going to stop wiping their asses now? Besides, it sounds like CA still needs it. Supplies are infinitely more stable here in IL. We just went shopping yesterday, and oddly, the only thing we couldn't find was powdered yeast. TP was literally so overstocked that it was also stacked up in the isle. Soaps, sanitizers...all the hard to find stuff...was on hand. I also noticed they have fully resumed online ordering and pickup so Im going to try that for my next order. The only problem with that is that if something I want is out of stock, they may not pivot to what would have been my replacement choice.- The Food Thread
Were going to build a lasagna tonight, but first were pregaming with wine and Voodoo Rangers.- Coronavirus: Continuing Vigilance

Hmm. We know what we want each other to know. We are whoever we say we are. We do whatever we say we do. Even our names are made up. None of those things are true with irl friends. For me anyway, I almost never share anything personal or of actual importance with this board. - Coronavirus: Continuing Vigilance
