I disagree. Imo, they keep everyone busy who would otherwise be trying to strike at the US in some fashion. Nah, that money is for blowing up China while defending some pissant country. But as soon as we get those TSMC fabs up and running in Arizona then Taiwan can sink into the ocean. Thats a big part of what really chaps my hide.
