  1. The GOG version? What's the problem?
  2. This doesn't strictly belong here but what do people make of Kingdoms of Amalur? EA's publicity machine is really picking up pace. Giant Bomb have an interview with ex-Bethesda bigwig Ken Rolston and the first 30 minutes are viewable here, courtesy of OXM. ... Pedigree be damned, I cannot see this game being any good. Prove me wrong, Rolston! Prove me wrong.
  3. Hey! **** you, buddy!
  4. What's your beef with Hadvar, man?
  5. I have to admit, I've bought into the hype more than a little. I'm sure I'll have the same problems with Skyrim that I've had with every other Bethesda game but I suppose it's about enjoying what they do well - exploration and lore and all that stuff.
  6. The voice acting and animation seems appropriately ropey. Who plays a Bethesda game for that stuff anyway? Least the art style is better.
  7. How did I not know about this Metal Gear Solid HD Collection? Be interesting to see if it's worth a damn.
  8. How often do Legionary Assassins usually spawn? I'm getting ambushed by them on a daily basis now. Frankly, it's a pain in my sweet ass.
  9. But it is the whiniest. Really? Whinier that the VIII? Is that even possible. I really don't believe you. They sure are an unlikeable bunch. ...and don't get me started on that ass pull of a flashback scene! You know the one I mean.
  10. Personaly, I would say yes. Also, you can check the very good LP done by Tigranes : http://forums.obsidian.net/index.php?showtopic=56942 How'd I miss this? Thanks dude, I'll check it out. It seems a little fruity but I hear the expansion improved upon the game massively.
  11. Guys, is Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga worth a damn? I don't know what to make of it.
  12. ! Sonic meets ...John Carpenter?
  13. Yup, it's why I'm doing the happy dance.. Pfft. I preordered from Amazon UK at full whack.
  14. Can anyone recommend a good melee/unarmed build?
  15. I think we could all do with a hug.
  16. Well, not all noir has to be gloomy. Just look at LA Confidential and Chinatown.
  17. The GUI looks a little intrusive and I have this niggling dislike of the cut to black before performing a takedown. Nitpickery aside, it's looks impressive. I'm pumped!
  18. I'd perhaps understand if the repetition was restricted only to side-quests but even plot centric quests reuse assets. ...I'd still argue it's a better game than Origins though.
  19. Fresh out of the deep roads and enjoying the buggery out of it so far. While the reuse of maps is grating, I'm liking that it's a city story. Feels like Baldur's Gate and Athkatla.
  20. What's your opinion of the friendship/rivalry scale, Maria?
  21. So how does this friendship/rivalry thing work? I heard it's a break from the pushover/jerkass metre of previous games.
  22. You'll have to wait for the Let's Play. Who's doing the Let's Play again?
  23. I did the same thing last summer. But just remember: when you're done with Deus Ex, Invisible War is every bit as bad as you remembered. I forgot that part. Heh, yeah, IW is pretty bad when compared to the original, but it's not that bad game. Horrible disappointment as a sequel? Yes. One of the worst examples of "streamlining"? Yes. A bad game? No. Yeah, Invisible War got kind of a raw deal. I didn't like the move away from cyberpunk into what seemed more like conventional science fiction to me but still, not a bad game by the usual standards.
