As the game is on the verge of release, speculation threads that top the 500+ mark are great, but shortly no longer needed. I echo this observation. I feel that the translation into a FP environment with VATS was rather well done. It allowed me an immersion aspect that was not clearly present in the old TB 3rd Person aspect. In many ways it further enriched my choice for a stealthy character. Sniping and sneaking was more intense, as the VATS approach forced me to be more 'cautious ...'

I just started, finally, playing FO 3 GOTY and I think its rather pleasing to play from PoV. No game will ever meet everyone's needs, but I am quite pleased with it - especially on the PS3 and on my HDTV! My own 4-leggeds were not so pleased when they heard I had to exterminate some of their cyber kin!
