  1. I so hear you about the RAM thing! I too hope Windows 7 is what I am hoping it will be
  2. Do we need a timeout from the sandbox? Do consider this rhetorical, as I so do not want to do anything all authoritarian-like ...

  4. Though I most sincerely appreciate the care that so many have for OBS, I also need to remind people to please not try to slag/flame/troll those with whom OBS has a professional relationship. Please try to keep comments constructive and not abusive - that way I can just be green, scaly and lazy!

  14. Thread pruned - could we please try not to antagonise/insult/bait one another ... I am so hoping that is heard as being rhetorical!
  15. Thread Closed - solution found and shared.
  16. You see that's the nice thing about life - we all have different EXPERIENCES. So, when we share them, of course we show respect to one another b/c we live in our own individualised self-support systems. And if we do not share them, we sort of get stuck and think only our experiences are normative - nice to be humbled by sharing ...
  17. Please do avoid the hyperbole, it means I have to move, make decisions on baiting and trolling and generally work - I like the Roost, let me stay ... *wonders if that was too subtle .... FLoSD.ObE
  18. Thanks B0S_Hybrid, I heard that and for me it does not make a difference.
  19. Thanks mkreku, I know from my googling it should work and does - my real concern is whether the PS3 is able to Group music according to Artist and such when it is not on the internal HDD. Apparently the OS does not like directories so you have to ensure your directory structure on an external is like that on the internal.

  21. Well I think I am finally going to get a console and it seems the PS3 is it. I am wondeirng if people who are using the console also as a mdeia hub could share if they are doing the following and, if so, what their experience is. I am going to buy an external HDD (probably 1TB) and then connect it to a USB port on the PS3, in order to access MP3s, photos and such. This way it allows for the media to be portable and accessible to other stations (i.e. notebooks). My question is: Is anyone doing this? How is the performance? Glitches? Challenges to this approach? Thanks, ahead of time, for anyone's input! F

  24. Well ... hmmm ... okay ... nope ... but ... I have nothing articulate to say it seems. Perhaps we could try to stay somewhat OT - the intent seems to be about gender and gaming ...
