  1. This looks good. Might get this and a 360 when it's released. http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/produc...le=chromehounds
  2. http://www.gamestation.co.uk/product.asp?id=ps2ac0012 Thanks.
  3. Thousands of fans don't ammount to a hill of beans in the eyes of a publisher. The most logical reason for nothing being confirmed is because it's on a different platform. PS3 perhaps , rather than the 360. As I said, if nothing is heard at E3 then it's probably not comming in the immediate future (1-2 years).
  4. Onimausha III Havnt finished Drakengard II yet (barely scratched the surface, it's a big game). But with Onimusha IV being released next week and having read about the changes in the control systems from II-III I want to see if it's worth ordering.
  5. 500,000 copies on a PS2 is pretty medicore. Doubt that's KOTOR III. Sounds more like one of MS's foreys into the JRPG market.
  6. Dragon Quest VIII (yep I know we are way behind but at least this one is coming over here). Final Fantasy XII Twilight Princess Chibi Robo The Revolution Trauma Centre
  7. Just play/do something else until they get around to it. Although if nothing is shown at E3 this year then it's probably not being made by anyone. LA will get around to it eventually, though who will actually make it is another matter.
  8. Lots. Expect lots more if they can't crack SONY's hold on the console market too.
  9. Xbox. By the time the PC version was patched I was already playing something else
  10. Wonder if ShadowRun was one of the games that inspired PST.
  11. Thing is that popular games that many people like tend to sell in great numbers. Of course it depends on your particular definition of many.
  12. Different genre ? Not according to gamespot. Diablo Platform: PC | Genre: Role-Playing Publisher: Blizzard | Developer: Blizzard | Released: 1996
  13. Wouldnt have been so bad if Malak was actually hard. But he's a total wuss at that point of the game. And if you have the right build and some luck you can reduce his HP's to 0 (dosnt matter though the scene still plays out the same). Sion at least had a rational explanation when it came to not being able to beat him. Although I thought chopping him up and sticking a piece in each of those lockers you find would have been a fine solution.
  14. There is a huge mass market for consoles (for reasons that have been done to death). Even if people do chip , it's not that significant (since most chipping is for avoiding localisation rather than to avoid buying). Plus chipping does cause problems getting some things to work.
  15. Just ordered Ace Combat 5 (better be good Calax ) Drakengard II is still awsome
  16. Maybe the effectiveness of the army is based more on genetics than we think. "
  17. Between Russia and Waterloo there were not many old guard left.
  18. Thats true for a lot of the game. But it's not totally linear. One of the big things about FFX is you get the airship almost at the "end" (end here meaning when you can fight the boss, because there are still all those other things to do if you want). Moar open up a lot earlier. Though since in FFX you are on a journey and not simply wandering around it works well for that particular game. The map in FFX has a couple of hidden locations. Omega dungeon probably being the biggy. Plus you have the Al Behd password system which opens up more locations again. Scaling is the big map issue. If you look at any of the early FF's you will be the same size as a chocobo which in turn will be the same size as an airship.
  19. Is Oblivions map travel like KOTORs ? And don't mix up what I've been saying about games prior to FFX with FFXII The Demo has a selection screen and I can't find any mention at all of a map of the pre FFX type.
  20. Don't forget the most important one. It's a HELL of a lot faster
  21. Depends how much time you spend messing around with the non plot related stuff usually. If for example I wanted to get all the special weapons in X thats a lot of extra stuff you have to do which isnt part of the plot. I've never actually managed to get Kimarhi's :"> (I'm not very good at the butterfly game). People can spend a ton of time (like days) trying to get a negative time on the chocobo race as well. Plus if you get into Blitzball then your time will just disapear. Don't know what extra activities are in this one, but there are bound to be some.
  22. Well you can walk if you like. But since you have an airship there isnt much point. The airship is very fast so you can fly around the world in under a minute. So while they are similiar, they are also poles appart.
  23. I'm not even sure I played it. It's strange to find a disk in a console I'm quite particular about removing them and putting them back in the boxes. What year was it released?Perhaps that will shed some light on it. Sounds like just the sort of thing I'd enjoy too.
  24. I came across it when I opened my PS (to play FFIV) really can't recall a great deal about the game. Perhaps I should play it again.
  25. This one ? http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/produc...ductcode=PT1430
