I still have the entire first run of SW lego. Unopened and still in the cling wrap. Wonder how much it's worth today.

No you just have put some points into it. I think I put 5 in because one game I purposely left treat injury at 0 so it wouldnt end up being a bonus to the stealth skill (which I never use). Then it put my awareness up to 17 and treat injury went up by one 1(it may have been 10 points as a sentinel I had a lot of skills). Xbox version so I dont know if that makes any difference. I'd try 5 and 10 points respectively in your lowest skill (much easier if you save points between levels).

The Incomplete Endings are lame.

Oh I rember them. I just had a different mental image of Zombie soldiers. Something akin to Resi Evil zombies in Sith and Rebel uniforms lumbering around. -
Lightside characters dont regenerate force points or if they do it's at an inperceptable level. Since you only get one shot at the caves once your out of force points you Hissis fighting time is done. Because even with a high AC they will hit you a lot and since healing is force related too your stuck with melee and health packs. DS is very easy. Force Drain, Death Field and Force Storm and the only limiting factor then is how soon you will get bored. Takes about 45 minutes to max out your levels I think. I've never played an LS character with that many DS powers though it seems feasable to do it , as long as you keep an eye on your forcepoints.

Something i've been wondering...
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to Haitoku's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I treat each thing as seperate. Obviously I expect the movies to make sense when compared to each other. Likewise I expect some sort of continuity in the games too. But I dont care if they do things that dont conform to the movies. Because as far as I am concered they are not related in any sort of meaningful way. I suppose I'm a bit like Geroge in that respect. Each aspect of SW has it's own reality. -
It still seems picky. Is it just me who goes easy on translated games or something? I mean I've played some with bad translation, but as long as you get the idea of what they are trying to convey I've never really seen it as a problem.

It depends at what point it was cut. Although it sounds a simple thing. It's something that was going to be remarkably "scene heavy". And thats where the time sink is in RPGs. The actual making of levels and sticking in the monsters is comparitively quick compared to the "fleshing out". Nice scene between Nihilus and Sion. But I'm really glad he didnt get his zombie soldiers. Still on the evidence of KOTOR II I doubt there are many who dont believe that given a 3year development window that Obsidian could create a game that would pretty rewrite the RPG book. -
I may get killed for doing this.

Name your Character
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to OneWithStrange's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Good idea call him Exile and everyone will refer to you by name. That's always been one of the negatives of full voicing. Small though when you consider the quality of VOT you get these days. Lets see names.. Darrius Khaine. - My "eternal champion" (some will probably get the the reference). -
I doubt he did, but I've heard Vader reffered to as the Dark Lord of the Sith for as long as I can remember. I can also remember when Mark Hamil came to visit and made Star Wars stew (a more edibile version of the thing on EPV). Starting with IV seems a very odd thing to do if you have the idea all along. I think it's more of a case of him wanting to fill in the blanks. The problem with that is that everyone has done it already in one form or another and it's not likely that their imagined version and his will match. EP II had me cringing in my seat. I'm only watching III because having watched the other five it would be silly not to.

Depends on the character I played. No one seemed to have a liking for GOTO. I always thought it ironic that the one place he would be most useful was on his own ship. -

In what way would you develop him ? -

No your wrong there is nothing that says you only roleplay one character, it is not a rule. In fact D&D makes provision for playing more than one character in a small groups and it's something that a lot of roleplayers have no problem at all with. -

In an ideal world. But when it comes to telling a cohesive story it's quite difficult when all you have to go on are a set of variables. It's even worse when you need to represent it graphically and then on top of that voice each one. KOTOR II only had to deal with four and since Revan was only mentioned they didnt have to worry about the other and even that caused problems. If however in KOTOR III someone wants Revan and the Exile to play a bigger part (joinable NPC/End Boss and Sub Boss etc) then all those variables will need to be covered, or someone will have to decide once and for all what they actually are.

Who was the better Sith Lord?
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to Jedi Master Revan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It's actually in the feat list of the Prima guide. She would still have to deal with that ultra cheesey invulnerable recharge thing though. -
I have no problem playing women in games. I just draw on my ex's for inspiration.. Perhaps thats why my female characters invariably turn out evil... but lets not go there. I do have a bit of a problem when it comes to romances. I didnt mind FFX-2 because the actual romance is post game. But I dont really enjoy the whole romance thing from the female perspective. Unless its with another female, then i'm on more familiar ground even if I'm a different gender in the game. Since games rarely get into the "mechanics".

Part II is such a HUGE improvement over part one. It's not that part one is bad, it isnt. It's just that in part II they seem to have pulled out all the stops and corrected everything that was less than perfect in the first game. The game also comes on 2 disks as opposed to a single disk and there is a lot more depth to the storytelling and cutscenes.
