  1. Makes you wonder why they dont just give you 2 companions like they did in FFX-2, dont have to worry about switching then :D The non Jedi were a liability in KOTOR, which ironically made it easier to decide who to take.
  2. HOTU was an awful story. "Look ma I'm another chosen one" . Makes them a bit of a one trick pony dosnt it.
  3. Could have done that. IF you were willing to sacrifice the number of NPCs. The question of teaching is simple. Do force powers appear out of no where ? If not then you must have been teaching them during those long trips through space and leveling up represents that moment when it all comes together.
  4. There are two reasons I see for not tying up the endings. 1. You may want to use the characters again and unless you already have something in mind this will cause continuity problems. 2. Once the character and they part company it's over unless they end up together. Shadow Hearts II had a brilliant ending , with a twist.. At least the ending I had anyway. There is another ending in there somewhere..
  5. Yes, but assuming that Jade Empire and Dragon Age work out, then they have little to be gained from making KOTOR III. In a lot of ways it would be a step back for them.
  6. Well to put things in perspective they didnt rush Bioware because at that point no one had any expectations of the game. The idea for the game having a holiday release only came about after the fantastic impression it made at E3. It would be a very shortsighted LA which repeated the same thing because at the very least people are going to approach KOTOR III more warily. Unless of course LA deciede III is enough, then they will take what they can get and then move on. The only way I can see Bioware doing KOTOR III is if their own projects tank badly. Which hardly puts them in a good bargaining position.
  7. I doubt he will lose any sleep over that. He has more than his fair share of adoring fans.
  8. "Mira wearing nothing but a jacket and ammo belt" is a bit of a mouthful.
  9. Maybe they just havnt checked back yet. Squenix make fantastic games, so it's not like they have anything to be ashamed of anyway.
  10. Really ? I would have thought that someone who likes romance and story would be all over them. Or is it the having to play a bloke thing?
  11. I got a wicked statue for helping out Khoonda.
  12. Well it wasnt me, I havnt voted yet. Only reason I didnt vote for them is because I didnt see it as likely. Then again I didnt see Squenix and Disney as likely either and we all know what happened there.
  13. Not being a hot red head puts Hanharr at a disadvantage... But he's definately a lot deeper than most people give him credit for.
  14. Knowing the people who made it, it's 100% intentional.
  15. Malak was only "difficult" because he was super cheesey. If he hadnt been invulnerable on his sprint to the recharge tanks he would have been dead in a round or two tops. I killed him on the Leviathon anywway and will never take KOTOR seriously as an RPG after that.
  16. I like it a lot better as 30 minute episodes rather than 3 minute ones.
  17. He is, but not in that role. I was watching where he was explaining about himself and it just made me cringe. Dr Who is all about nostalgia and thats something that the new series dosnt have. Can you really see teens staying in to watch Dr Who on Saturday nights rather than going out and getting rat arsed? (w00t) I knew Adams was writing it. But I had no idea if it was completed or they completed it from his notes.
  18. Actually it would have. Unless you had break HP limit and in order to get that you have to fight things even harder than the thing I was describing. But in most cases, yes leveling till your eyes bleed will make most encounters range from managable to easy. You might even know to which particular critter I am refering now. Granted they feel like much more of an accomplishment. But if you had to fight the same boss 5 or 6 times I think it would get old. I do recall in Skies of Arcadia I was so seriously underleveled it took something like 4 hours to go through the boss cycle and by the end my hands were trembling. I dare not think what would happen to a lot of people if they got to that stage and died
  19. Thats odd logic. Because if you dont win the battles then the story will stall. They dont just let you skip battles to keep the story going. The bonus areas in FFX were a major shock to my system (it being my first JRPG) it just wasnt normal in my RPG experience to come across something that could take out the entire party in the first round with a single attack. I dont personally think that most people would really enjoy hour (and longer) boss battles.
  20. It's not even the most bugged game in the last year... In history, then your talking rubbish. Or you just dont know very much about games. I'd like to see what a Sqenix SW game would come out like. I was talking to my wifes brother about it quite recently. It's one of those not likely to happen things but who knows. Lets see. If KOTOR I is Biowares best storytelling effort, really not interested. I might re-evaluate that post Jade Empire. But I've never felt compelled to play KOTOR again.
  21. The whole over the top darkness is one of the reasons I was never fussed on the game. It just tried too hard in that respect.
  22. Makes getting around a lot quicker. You dont have to keep going through the central hub.
  23. I watched a bit of it last night. Stars at 4 pm today but I hope they do the omnibus weekend shows again.
  24. Well, that's something you don't see everday. ^_^ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Koreans make quite a few games. They are also active in the animation industry. The MMPORG market over there is huge too.
  25. It gets vandalised when you trigger the Jak Jak Tar meeting.
