Microsoft to Make Games for Nintendo
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to EnderAndrew's topic in Computer and Console
Rare used to make a lot of Nintendo stuff. Since being taken over by MS they have been quite mediocre releases. Grabbed by the Ghoulies and Conker (which is an old game remixed rather than anything new). Kameo is in limbo having been for the Xbox and now switched over to the 360. -
Jade Empire has a homosexual romance?
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to GhostofAnakin's topic in Computer and Console
The lesbian one is pretty disapointing. I came across it by accident by playing the concerened friend. You get a quick kiss and then you go to bed alone. And thats it. The only other mention is in the prologue. -
I found it a big improvement over the chunky style controller. Only played Destroy all Humans so far so I couldn't say I'm used to it yet.

Everybody over orded and got left with a lot of surplus stock. -
I'm tempted to rent Ninja Gaiden again after i'm done with God of War. Last time I played it , it was on the standard Xbox controller which I've never really gotten along with. Now I have a S type although I'm still much more intuative with a PS2 controller because it's the one I most commonly use.

You have to think about it like this. Why are you part of society ?

The official late 80's eary 90's TV series thread
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to Kaftan Barlast's topic in Way Off-Topic
Most of these shows are still found on cable. There was one which I cant recall the name of which was like a TV version of Tron (but with Tron living in the real world). -
Before you can become everything. You must first be nothing.

Does anyone else share my dislike of d20?

Interplay were supposed to do a CRPG based on that setting. Wonder what happened to the rights to that.. -

Discovering life on other planets is a good start. It will explode the human idea of self importance for one thing. As well as give religion a bloody nose which is never a bad thing. -

Dosnt matter what state the economy is in as long as he has the oil and someone to sell it too. Remember the Russians and France ? They were the ones doing deals and allowing him to circumvent sanctions. They were also the ones who constantly held back the UN for their own selfish gain while people died in droves. Something to think about it isnt it. Odd thats isnt. When Isreal do something good we didnt act and when they do something "wrong" its our fault for supporting them. -

Got it wrong again. It was spending oil money that allowed him to become a tyrant. As soon as there were reasonably grounds to do so they attempted to remove him, only to be thwarted by the UN. Many people wanted to go in and finish the job but they were held back. Then it took another 10 years before another chance came along. -

Actually with Osama as leader of Saudi Arabia you would then have a solid target to take out. It was for the Germans for quite a long time. Giving into Hitler only fueld his sense of importance and invincibility. Of course Britain wasnt really in very good shape even in 1939 so it's unlikely they could have stopped him even if the will was there. -

Your wrong and Bush was wrong if he said it. Saddam used to pay members of Hamas to blow themselves up. Technically he paid the families (since you cant pay the bomber) but when your life is **** and dying gets you into your version of heaven and your family has $10,000 to spend its what you would call a hell of an incentive. -
I finished level 1 brilliant game thus far. I think I prefer it to NJG too. Dont have to focus so hard so I can enjoy it much more. The story character is just "da man" It's totally viscreal perhaps the most viloent game I've seen. But it's not cartoon violence. When Kratos holds someone above his head and tears his limbs off it makes you wince. The boss fight just blew me away (litterally right off the side of the ship). Brilliant stuff that isnt just about pushing buttons.

Nope totally toothless. Iraq shows just how little the US needs the UN. Not the point. Rather the point would be if you had nothing to hide then why act like you do. Just because they havnt been found dosnt mean they didnt exist they certainly did because he's used them. They are still digging up mass graves 20 years on that no one knew existed and you need some sort of paper trail or indicator. You wouldnt find randomly buried drums of chemicals until they started to leak. -
It's quite possible to do it. But you can kill someone by punching them in the head too. There are a lot of factors involved. In a boxing match (which wasnt what the poll was about) Tyson would probably win. Even if it was a case of Bruce being disqualified.

Those are a different type of resolution. But the fact of the matter is that without the US the UN is toothless and all it can do is wag its finger at people. Blix was also being given the run around by Saddam, the inspectors were constantly minded and had to give advance notice on where they wanted to go. Which would give you time to move the weapons out. -
I got a copy this morning from Blockbuster. Then spent the rest of the day jumping through hoops to sell my car. So whatever is in the game is in for a serious arse kicking because by my standards I'm in a foul mood.

I doubt Tyson could have landed a hit on Bruce Lee.

That was a good bit. The whole sequence was like Helms Deep, even to the point of having "Gandalf" ride to the rescue with the army.

What is your posts per day count ?

You have to admit its pretty mindboggling. I mean I can post 30 things a day some days. But every day that would be quite a feat. -
Explosion in London this morning

This could be the event that kicks it off. Anyway the way I see it is like this. They hate what we are , they hate our values of freedom and democracy and since we will never change those (one would hope) we are at empasse. Where as we just hate what they do. I dont hold any particular ill feeling towards any group as long as they stay out of my backyard. And you cant have it both ways. You cant expect our help when your getting killed and not expect it the other way around when your the one doing the killing. -

To quote Wonder Woman "Hit it till it stops moving" This is what pisses me off in all this We spend billions on weapons that minimise civilian casualties. We purposely expose our troops to additional risk in order to minimise civilian casualties. We feed and cloth the people as well as give medical aid. We also rebuild their infrastructure. And no one really shows much in the way of gratitude or aknowledgement even in the countries we live in. Now you could say thats all because they want oil. But the truth is if the US wanted oil that badly no one could stop them and they wouldnt even have to pay for it. It's like no one realises just what we could do if the kid gloves came off ,or they exploit the fact that we wont do it as a weakness.
