Four cases make up the main story.
Hard to say since I've been playing for a while (since release) but in short bursts. I've been playing case 5 for about 5 hours.

Well I wouldnt normally be playing a handheld sat in front of the computer. But I've got lost magic and trauma center to pick up tommorow so I need to finish this.
It's an adventure game (of sorts) split into two types. In the first you gather evidence and in the second you use that evidenve in a courtroom setting to win your case.
Case 4 is the final case in the "campaign".
Then you get Rise from the Ashes :D
Which introduces some new elements.

Still need a PC for the Wi Fi though since we are not in a Wi Fi area. Wonder how much those hot spot kits cost.

To play that Tecmo golf game, you apparently swing your controller like a golfclub and it follows the swing path.
Sounds almost like exercise.
Theres a vid on the nintendo site showing different types of actions for the controller.
