Heres the latest on the 360 BC. One thing missing from the new site is a list of current-generation Xbox games which are backwards compatible with the hard drive-equipped Xbox 360. Speaking to MTV news recently, Xbox VP Peter Moore said the list will appear on the site within the next week or two.

Not going to happen If the story and the characters don't grab then the rest of the game is pretty lacklustre.
-
TOEE is horribly boring. If there is an IWD it will be in name only. I dont think people will go for a game where you have to create your own characters. NwN II should give them a pretty good springboard for all sorts of D&D stuff should they wish to follow that route.

The Revolution will be globalized

I'd suggest getting a unit for the bottom of your bed. Then running the cables under the bed to keep them out of the way. -
Unless it appears on the rental list I won't be getting it.

My parents just started playing Nintendogs. They also picked up pictochat pretty quick. I dont think a PS3 holds the same sorts of mysteries that a PC might although it's doubtful anything will get them involved. Revolution on the other hand , who knows. I'm sure I'll have enough brain cells left at the end of this generation to keep my kids in check.

Looks that way a warrior unit is made up of 3 warriors (no idea what they represent). I accept Enochs balance arguement. But it kills the credibility when lance armed knights can "kill" a helicopter.
-
At which point they cease to be knights. Just like you cant use the 1000+ personel on an aircraft carrier in any way other than to make it function in Civ. A lance is not a rocket powered grenade. Enoch has the right idea. Just hope it dosnt happen often enough to become a factor.

I think some guy just gave someone $100,000 to own a property that isnt real and that he will never see. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He itends to rent it out like you would a block of flats. I really don't see the attraction but perhaps a lot of crackpots play the game.

http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=61403 Probably a couple of people around here who are familiar with the setting Should be out on friday in the UK.

Dosnt seem likley as most MMPORG items depriciate very quickly. Since virtual space is to all intents and purposes infinite I don't think it mirrors the real world too closely. People still play magic ? Havnt played that game in years
-
I've always found the idea a bit ridiculous. I suppose it depends on how seriously you take these things. Even when I was playing seriously I never considered buying items with real money. Although if you don't play a lot and you have a lot of real money, it's an option. Even as far back as UO castles would sell for pretty high sums. I suppose if you can't own the real deal, then virtual is the next best thing :D
-
If you havnt played the first one, then buy that if you can find it. It's cheap now.
-
The first one is better single player since you have a story and a lot more interaction. In the second one you have more powers to play around with, higher levels and no mandatory solo sections. The thing I found with the second one, is that if you stuck DA characters in most of the levels, they wouldnt look at all out of place. It has a sort of fantasy vibe in most locations, where as the first one had a lot more contempory feel.

Entertainment Weekly Polls: Video Game Movies
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to kumquatq3's topic in Computer and Console
Someone was making a game based on that. Games to movies... Well sticking with the Snake theme MGS. They are halfway their already. -
No, your getting confused with the type . 500GB in a 3.5" form factor that was bursting at the seams with just 20MB so many years ago". HD's used to be big beasts, you would have a series of a disks (8 was the most I can recall) and a series of heads reading those disks. Sixteen was about the most I ever saw. Then you had your usual cylinders. The articles you are reading are about 3.5" HD's which were like the holy grail of HD technology since the things I was refering too would never fit into a desktop or a laptop they were purely for tower cases. Or in some cases external. Mine I believe was a 5.5" although it could have been 7.5"

http://www.tgdaily.com/2005/10/24/maxtor_5...ives/index.html Today Maxtor released their first 500 GB harddrives.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not 100% accurate. It's in this quote. "Maxtor has added 500 GByte versions to its 3.5" harddrive product portfolio. According to the company, half a terabyte space is now available in the firm's 7200 rpm MaxLine Pro series for the enterprise segment, in the QuickView family of consumer electronics drives and in the desktop-targeted DiamondMax 11 drive series". The larger sizes have been around for quite some time.

Those things are the unit killing itself, not the knight killing it. Again it makes no sense in the combat resolution. There isnt any way to rationalise it, it probably wont spoil the game though, as long as its not a common occurance. Since the units are matched vs each other then they must be combat ready. I dont recall anything in Civ where units are caught by suprise.

Dammit !! now I have the chocobo song in my head

Some more revolution controller stuff.
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to ShadowPaladin V1.0's topic in Computer and Console
At least as far as Japan goes I think that would be the case. -
It should still make some sort of logical sense though. You would have to really apply the imagination to rationalise knights taking out a helicopter (well unless you were playing TORN ) It isnt ?
-
That is kind of the point. Since people dont loot unless social order has broken down your first priority is to instil some order.

Which is better a fart or a burp

http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=61381 My favourite bit. But developing Rev games may not be an easy task according to Square-Enix's Kouichi Ishii, project producer for World of Mana. "You'll have to change game design methods from the core. For instance, you'll have to start by looking back at your play as a kid and think of what kinds of things you could do if developing for the Revolution," Ishii said. "If you can do this, then surely you will be able to make a completely new form of play, different from current games."
