  1. It come out at 3am here so I'll be asleep then at work all day before I can play
  2. If you got it on Steam then the store page for the game will tell you how many days/hours to go. It says 1 day 7 hours now
  3. Apparently the manual linked to on Steam is rather incorrect and probably shouldn't be read. Does anyone know if a correct manual will be uploaded to backer portal on release day or should I just read this one to kill some time and then rely on in-game tutorials/explanations?
  4. One of the devs on here said everything has left already even if it doesn't say shipped Mine says shipping soon as well
  5. Anyone know where to get the other rewards, they said it would be on the portal I think but it's not there for me
  6. Actual download is only 6GB for those worrying about download time (though I guess there will be another patch at release)
  7. It's like 7am Tuesday where they are still the whole day to give out the keys like they said they would, and still a couple days until it actually comes out
  8. If you get unlucky. I've found stuff I buy from US can take anywhere between 5 and 40 days to get here
  9. They will send a Kickstarter update out telling you to go to your backer portal to get it
  10. Obsidian gave 1000 Steam keys to Paradox, Paradox found Youtubers with a decent following of subscribers to make more people see the game and be aware it's out soon. Work on getting a Youtube following if you want an early key for the expansion
  11. What's engagement for? Was it to make melee more viable or something? Seems kinda stupid, a character shouldn't always get hit when they try to run away
  12. Well I kinda agree. The combat is not particularly great even in recent beta - its a bit of a clusterf***, and they failed to improve the UI much from the old games. I understand this is basically a nostalgia game but I am disappointed they didn't look to advance it much - same story with giving up on the moving shrubs/trees in the wind. Maybe for expansion or PoE2 or a new iso RPG they will advance it more. However assuming all the talk isn't lies and gameplay videos aren't vertical-slices then I think this game will be well worth $45 or more, I paid more for South Park RPG that was only 13 hours and that was worth it I wish the action bars were better. I don't mean they should make us only be able to use 6 abilities, but the ability UI is just...old. I feel like when I click a character it should have a few action bars pop up immediately, and I can drag and drop abiltiies wherever I want on these bars and keybind them. Then if I get more abilities than will fit on these bars have an arrow to go down to more bars, or have an option to have as many action bars as I want stacking up on the left. It just seems irritating to click on the character then hover over "I" or "II" then find and select the ability, also looks like you can't drag the abilities around (correct me if I'm wrong) which sucks This isn't dumbing down or culling abilities, I just want to be able to tailor action bars to my liking and have instant access to all of my abilities when I click my character rather than through pop-up menus that I can't even customize
  13. Did they say you will be able to preload? My internet is slow lol
  14. From what I've heard...I think if you backed the game on Kickstarter you will get to choose between Steam or GoG code. Even if you bought a physical edition since you get a digital copy too Also you might not get the map/manual etc early, only if they allow pre-loading on Steam instead of just giving out the key
  15. I think if you are on at least normal and read everything and talk to everyone it'll be a good 70 hours
  16. They abandoned with because it was a huge amount of work to make it work properly I think (there was some discussion a while back on the issue). I seem to recall them mentioning that they want to try and do it again for future project. Damn that's unfortunate. I get that the entire game is a nod to the IE games but the moving foliage really made it feel like they had progressed since the 90's. Still looks a bitbetter than those old games at least Hopefully they try it if the game gets a sequel
  17. Watching recent videos one thing I wondering, did they completely abandon moving trees/bushes/grassblades etc? It looked so awesome in this video but I haven't really seen it since..
  18. Yes, you can activate you Backer key on Steam and you will be able to have a Mac/Windows/Linux version with just the 1 key If you activate it on GoG it is DRM free - you don't have to be online to play it and it isn't tied to a program etc...GoG also usually gives you a bunch of stuff like soundtrack, desktop backgrounds, digital map and so on I usually just go Steam for Steam Achievements/gameplay hours tracking and I always have Steam open anyway
  19. I want them to do Kickstarter again. Like Shadowrun it will allow them to get most of the money they need to make a sequel through KS and profits from the previous game can help (you would hope) make it even better More risk if they just fund it themselves without KS
  20. There's nothing wrong with having quite long silences before music comes back in, like 30 seconds to 2 minutes. And in between wilderness tracks. I like when it's just silent for a while, provided the background fx is nice
  21. Yes, backers get the preorder bonus as well. Awesome! Guess they won't be getting even more money from me
  22. Does anyone know if backers get the preorder bonus? I already backed the game and bought 3 more copies for friends, I want the preorder bonus they have on Steam but I don't really feel like buying a 5th copy for $45USD..
